My strong preference would be to be asleep right now, but broken brains and destroyed souls are not conducive to sleep. I will never ever ever EVER understand how it is that I have found myself in this position. I was SO CLOSE to making a start in moving forward. I was less than 48 hours away from it. The cruelness of that is beyond my comprehension.
