Yeah nah I agree @Blackcloud too much caring is not good for us!! Especially if it means we're not looking after ourselves. Life's all about balance after all!
How's your day?

@Jynx today's my 3rd day since the wisdom teeth removal treatment, and it's going fine so far, and it's really good that it's not affecting my ability to continue on with my uni work, even though I wasn't able to attend any of my face to face uni classes today since I still need time to be at home to fully recover. But I'm glad I have one of the teachers whose said that he'll help me with the assignment after I come back next week. 🙂
Also, for some reason whenever I eat my own homemade pasta along with the pasta sauce that I got from the FoodBank Victoria pantry a month ago, I get this upset stomach feeling 😕 guess its time to throw that pasta sauce jar and the pasta penne packet away now cause for some reason, those upset my stomach whenever I eat it (even after I've boiled the pasta properly).
How are you?

@tyme why would my parents help me out? i live on my own and my parents are toxic and arent even the caring parents that they think they are. So far I've been able to help myself out with all the aftercare instructions that the dentist has suggested me to do and I'm managing it really well without the needs of someone's assistance.

@Blackcloud Aww that's great!! Love when the teachers are enthusiastic about their students' learning!!
Noooo maybe there's something in there you're allergic to? You poor thing, you got backup foods?
I'm not too shabby! Had a busy stressy morning getting my car towed (it's not even an exciting story... I hit the curb too fast and popped a tyre, but didn't have a spare.... LOL) but it's all sorted now, so onto relaxation times!!
You up to much this evening?

yeah probably 😛
ahh i see, I'm glad it's all sorted and that you're all relaxed now haha! 😄 I can imagine how stressful that was, even though I don't own a car (I'm not even willing to wanting to learn to drive at this stage though)
Yeah right now I'm working on one of the tasks for one of my uni courses/units 🙂
I hope that when I finish this accounting certificate that I'll able to apply for some bachelor (I.T/cybersecurity) degrees for next semester hehehe, and of course I will be applying credit from all of the units from the certificate of I.T that I've passed so far for those (and even for a diploma or associate degree if I end up getting accepted into one of those then).
Luckily for the accounting certificate (because I started doing this certificate since mid 2022 until the year before) I now have 2 units left to pass, even though accounting is very boring compared to I.T 😛

@Blackcloud honestly got my car when covid hit - I was living with someone who ended up being a VERY bad match for me, and needed a way to escape from the lockdown blues!! I wish I didn't enjoy it so much, personally I am against cars - public transport all the way! Walkable cities!! Reducing CO2!! High speed rail!!! Much better options. Alas, the world was not built that way, so I got me a dinosaur goo burner 😝
Uuuughh accounting would make my brain shrivel up I reckon!! Haha good luck with it all hun!!
I'm off for the night! And I'm away next week too for ma bday, so I will catch up with ya in March!! All the best poppet 😊💜

Hi @rav3n my day’s going fine, but also bad because…well I got my order(click and collect) of the external hard drive that I purchased online on jb hifi the other day, and then when I started using it for my MacBook to try and download a software(called Ubuntu) that doesn’t even work on MacBook (that software only works for windows unfortunately) nothing worked 😕 AND I’ve found out that you can’t even download anything on your uni’s computers either so that’s even more annoying…
It’s so annoying and mentally tiring having to keep researching and looking up YouTube videos on how I can get Ubuntu to be downloaded on MacBook. I literally don’t know how to go on or continue about it anymore.
And it is for one of the I.T units im doing this semester too.. when I downloaded Ubuntu on my MacBook the first time during class and the teacher came to check on it, he said that it doesn’t work on MacBook (only on windows) and that I would have to get an external hard drive. BUT I DID THAT AND IT DIDNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE…
And my last resort now would unfortunately have to be either of these 3 options (the first one might be most likely but who knows):
1. to spend some money on getting a windows laptop… which…you know… that was why I thought of getting an external hard drive in the first place since that ones cheaper than getting a new laptop
2. drop out of this unit completely (???)
3. ask the teacher for a one on one consultation with him to tell him about the issue? But again, I don’t know if he’ll be able to come up with any other alternative solutions other than just getting a windows laptop..
and as far as I know, with I.T courses - using a windows laptop is generally a better option than using a MacBook because there are quite a few different softwares you’d have to use for classes that work best on windows than on Mac 😭😭

That's so weird. Look, can you ask the teacher how to get it to work with an external hard drive? @Blackcloud
