Oh yes, it gets very cold in the blue mountains, my aunt was their visiting my cousin last year and got 3 inches of snow one her car over night!!!!, she could not drive out of the blue mountains for 3 days the weather had turned so nasty, do you have a wood fire place?
That is the best part of winter for me, the fire place, it makes me so calm just sitting listening to the crackle, smeel of pine and watching the flames flicker. so wonderful 🙂
i can't believe how people underestimate the moon, the gravitational pull is such an amazing thing, space is still a mystery to us all.

@Jacques we do have a fireplace, but sadly we can't use it because of the state of chimney. We got a great heater though, which keeps the house toasty. I hope we get snow here this winter! I love the snow. The world seems so pretty dusted in white frosting.

Oh what a shame, it seems such a shame to have one but not be able to use it 😞
You are lucky you have a good heater though, my cousin said it gets so cold in the mountians.
I have never seen snow, i wish one day i could see it, i love the cold, i would love to try skiing one day 🙂
It must look so magical, everything covered in white, maybe i will do a drive to a town this winter that has snow so i can see it 🙂

@Jacques @Shaz51 @CherryBomb @Angels333 @NikNik, @Appleblossom and anyone else I didn't think of just now but count every day
I always get the fluvax - keep my hands clean and be careful not to touch my face if someone is coughing or sneezing near me - if fact I keep far away from coughing and sneezles -
But my main thing is Vit C - and I also take Vit D with Calcium - in winter it's hard to get enough sunshine
And eat lots of berries and mandarines - my favourites
Next week I'll do a fruit platter -
And if you have been inside for a long time and take a walk in a sharp breeze - keep a scarf before your nose - and rug up

Thanks for the wonderful pointers @Decadian. I guess it's also possible to get vitamine D from the sun, and calcium from certain types of foods too - a healthy diet and sunshine could go a long way!
As we also say here on the SANE Forums, before you start taking any meds, even if it's just vitamins, check in with your doctor to ensure that they will have no interaction effects with other meds that you might be on.
