@Former-Member that's a shame that the girl's activities don't allow much time for mingly with other parents. That would be a place where I expect most parents would get to know one another. Are you allowed to get there early?
I agree with you @Former-Member, I've noticed that full moons and windy days can make people feel a little on edge.
@Decadian thanks for the tips! I'm a vegetarian, but spices sound like a winner. I just made myself a spicey curry so hopefully that will knock the bugs around.
@BlueBay sorry to hear that you're not feeling great. I'm glad that you could make it tonight. If you're not up to talking, perhaps you can just take a sit and hang out with us and listen to the conversation. Sometimes just being around other people can be helpful.

Baha @MoonGal - nearly! Thanks for the correction.
@Former-Member glad you could make it! I'm just about to put the kettle on if you'd like a cuppa. Thai sounds lovely. What did you have
Thanks so much for the all the wonderful tips and remedies to battle out this cold. It sounds like spices are the way to go, as well as hot drinks. I feel so lucky having people offer so many suggestions. With the winter approaching, what are some ways to stay will and not get the flu? Do many people get sick over winter? I didn't for a few years... don't know what I'm doing different now though...

@CherryBomb - I am definately affected by the moon's cycle, and I have worked in customer service and can vouch for the reality that full moon definately has a heigtened edge to people's interactions. Back when I still had lady baby parts I was really rocked around at full moon, but the hsterectomy took care of that.
I used to garden by the moon cycle - (not at night per se) so you plant on the new moon, harvest on the full moon, pull weeds and prune in the dark of the moon etc.
I deeply see my Bi Polar as a Lunar Cycle (all of its own) that is also affected by the moon. Yes. My poem which was my introduction to the forums was about just that very thing.
@sadgirl - waves and gentle smiles from me - hope you find something lovely to hold on to during your hard time.
Hi @Former-Member - I love Thai, hope you had a nice meal out.
For everyone - there are days when you just need a rainbow, butterfly, unicorn kitten aren't there?

Hello miss shazzy @Shaz51 - so glad you're here!
@MoonGal love the rainbow kitten unicorn - it made my day. it's so interesting to hear about gardening and lady cycles (mine does the same). It makes sense. I think often we forget that nature's cycle's including the plants, animals, the ocean, including ourselves are affected by the moon.
Thanks for the tips @Jacques. I think I'm acclimatising the cold mountain air, going from the warmth of indoors out into the cold. It's cold here already! It's going to be freezing in winter, literally! Need to rug up more..
