Good evening @tyme @Zoe7 @TAB @Glisten @StuF @ENKELI @Shaz51 @Lauz @Emelia8 @SmilingGecko and all sports lovers here. Thanks for the great comments you have posted- very much appreciated☺️!
Tonight, the AFL elimination final 1 is on with the Western Bulldogs playing the Hawthorn Hawks at the MCG. I’m hoping the bulldogs get up as the hawks are in great form at the moment and could be a real flag contender. Whoever wins that match plays Poet Adelaide next week. I’m still cheering on my Lions tomorrow night so I’ll be 1 nervous supporter this time tomorrow night!
As for the NRL, the Parramatta eels are battling the Wests Tigers for a battle of the wooden spoon with Parra currently leading at half time. Go Parra! The Bunnies are playing the Roosters in the next match tonight and I’m on team Bunny - I’m still not over the Roosters defeating the Storm in a Grand Final a few years ago - so I’m hoping the bunnies win tonight!
I’m off to watch the Hawks vs Bulldogs on TV so it’s goodbye til after 10:30 when the final siren sounds!

Hey @Judi9877
Another great update
Looks like the Eels are safe in Spoon Bowl
AFL is hard to call. Won't be surprised either way. Both teams capable.
I'll be going to the Swans game tomorrow evening so no prizes for guessing who I want to win 🙂
Enjoy your viewing!

Love your sports updates and wraps @Judi9877 😀 Been loving watching the Paralympics too. Such inspirational athletes.
Just wanted to say how happy I am with both my NRL team Raiders and AFL team Swans. Both teams came back late, with great wins after being down by significant margins.
@StuF I envy you being at the Swans game today. It would have been an absolutely thrilling finish. Much of the game they were looking like living up to their record of losing to GWS in every finals match they've played. But they turned it around and won a really tough one. A real nail biter I gotta say. Phew. I couldn't watch the last couple of minutes. So Swans get a prelim final now.
I think my Raiders will finish the season in equal 8th place, but miss finals due to a poor for and against. 😢
How's everyone else's teams going?

Ahhh yes @TAB Port were most disappointing. But they get another chance. Hopefully they will do significantly better next week.

think people me included take too much notice of media @Emelia8 they were dragged down all year, then built up too much before finals only to be found out again.

A bit like all the hype over the Swans @TAB when they were looking unbeatable after 14 rounds or so. They fell in a hole after that, and suddenly became easybeats. I'm hoping they got their bad games out of the way then, and are now ready to shine throughout the finals.
So your Port now play a very much in form Hawthorn I think? And the winner then plays Swans.
