It was a pretty amazing game to be at...well, the ending was amazing. Swans played like shite for a lot of the game. We'd all pretty much given up hope...but they did it!!!

Good afternoon sports lovers @TAB @Zoe7 @StuF @Emelia8 @tyme @Shaz51 @tyme @Lauz and all forumites here. I hope you’ve enjoyed the sports over the past week!
Last weekend saw the following things happen:
- AFL finals : Brisbane Lions defeated the Carlton Blues at the Gabba after leading for the first quarter by 60 points which I was very happy with. Go the Lions 🦁! They play the GWS Giants tomorrow night in Sydney after they lost to the Sydney Swans on Saturday afternoon. Hawthorn defeated the Western Bulldogs so they will play Port Adelaide tonight in Adelaide after Port lost to Geelong last Thursday night. Go the Hawks! Whoever wins tonight’s match plays Sydney next week at the SCG with the winner of the Lions/GWS match playing Geelong at the MCG. I’m hoping for a Lions win but if not, I’d be happy for a Hawks premiership at the end as they have been playing really well lately. All I know is I’m booked for 7:30 tomorrow night to watch my Lions hopefully win! Will anyone be at the SCG tomorrow night?
- NRL: The finals season starts tonight with Penrith playing the Roosters which I’m hoping for a Roosters win. The Melbourne Storm take on the Cronulla Sharks tomorrow afternoon at 4:05 at AAMI Park which I’m cheering on the Storm to win and which I’ll be watching on TV before switching over to the AFL to see my Lions play. The Cowboys take on Newcastle with the Dogs taking on Manly which I’m cheering on the Dogs. It should be an interesting and exciting weekend for NRL fans so may the best teams win!
- Tennis - The Davis Cup is on at the moment with the Aussie men playing including Alex Di Minaur and Alexi Popyrin playing to good results so far.
- The V8 Supercars are at Sandown Raceway in Victoria this weekend which is looking to be a great race as it an endurance round so it will really challenge the race teams. I used to live near the racetrack a few years ago but never went to the races despite hearing the cars several times.
I hope you have a great weekend watching and cheering on your sports teams and players. May the best teams and player win!
Take care!

Hi all, and once again thank you @Judi9877 for your extensive sports wrap. 👍
You asked if anyone will be at the SCG tomorrow night. If you are referring to the GWS game, it isn't played at the SCG (which is Swans home ground) it will be at Engie Stadium. So if anyone turns up at the SCG they will be a bit lonely 🥺.
Also you mentioned Alex De Minaur is playing in the Davis Cup. Sadly with his hip injury aggravated in the US Open, he isn't playing. But the other Aussies, including Thanasi Kokkinakis, have been doing very well.
Hey @TAB your Port have started well against Hawthorn. A totally different team to last week. With the winner of this match to play my Swannies next week, I'm really unsure who I'd rather play. Did you see that Swans captain Mills is out next week with an injury? Bit unfortunate.

@TAB Very well done to Port, after their demoralising thrashing last week and against an in form Hawks. Port were the better team all night I thought, and deserved their win today. Hoping they now have an off day next week 😂 against my Swans.
I hope your teams win has given you a bit of a lift Tab ❤️
