Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post
Dear @Anastasia
Patience goes without saying on the forums.
We all write when we can and when we have the energy or frame of mind.
Hence so many different threads.
I have been absent on and off for some time due to life and am at the moment slightly clearer in mind.
Thank you for letting me know that I helped plant the seed.
Letter writing is so very powerful and means something different to each of us.
Letters can induce sadness, trigger memories, cause tears to flow.
They are written from the heart on this post and every letter written no matter what the content contributes to a strong bond that is forming as a result of a form of communication that helped so many over the years.
Think about all of the letters written during wartimes. Lost family members and friends sometimes reunited.
Letters are a must in my mind.
Write when and only when you feel like it.
Tigger who is a friend of Sophia
💜

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post
Dear Friend Pooh Bear @Lilaca , thank you for your warm welcome to Kanga! And your kind accepting words She is very happy to read. And I am really enjoying your poetic words 🙂 I think you are a bit of a wordsmith.
Sorry to hear about your sleep disorder though 😞
I particularly like this, to Owl:
@Lilaca wrote:Too much in the mind
will make you wise.
Too much in the heart
will make you kind.
Kanga this morning is preparing Roo's Medicine for when Roo wakes up. However, Roo doesn't like taking their Medicine, so Kanga will have to be cunning. Maybe Pooh Bear could help provide some Honey to hide the Medicine in?
Hello to Tigger, Eeyore and Owl 🙂
From your friend Kanga.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post
Dear Friend,
Welcome to our tea party,
with new friends and old friends to be with
how can we ever start complaining!
Let's squeeze in and be a little more cosy
we could have more friends coming in!
Well well how could we ever thank our dear Tigger,
always bursting full of bright ideas!
But one of a kind our Tigger is,
There can never be other like our Tigger!
Tigger's bouncing is addictive,
it makes everyone happy.
Bouncing, dancing and swirling,
our friendship will tune to the rhythm as Tigger sings.
Now that we could almost be like family,
I hope eveyone finds a place that fits them right in.
We will always care and be supportive,
in the darkest days till the light shines in.
Hello my dear new Friend,
glad to have you join in.
I hear your story of your family,
and a bear hug is all Pooh can give.
Now that you have settled in,
will you consider us as new family?
If the old doesn't work,
maybe the new will.
A friendship is a relationship,
so does a family.
We have to be kind, trustworthy and authentic,
but most of all the right people usually does the trick.
If you didn't mind us,
would you please step in?
You can be the perfectionist Rabbit or
the silly Pooh Bear if you wish.
You are now invited into our friendship band.
I hope it will bring in a new kind of relationship.
Not that it will ever be perfect,
but Pooh and friends will always have your back.
My dear Owl friend,
you are always the wise one.
Dear Owl loves to live in the dark,
but will find light in their own eyes
shining bright.
Can you see the light in your eyes?
Pooh does and will remind Owl everyday
that the light has always been in Owl's eyes.
Owl sees in a different light in the dark,
that only night animals can do.
Hello our dear Christopher Robin,
I hear your story of one close knit family,
caring for one another but somehow,
everyone is sick.
There only needs one to get better,
and soon everyone will recover.
That's the close bond of family,
will you be that first one to pull everyone to safety?
Dear Christopher Robin,
you are the brave and couragoues one.
Pooh and friends will lend you all the might we have,
so you will have the strength to get your family healthy once again.
My dear Kanga momma,
how can Pooh bear gives advice to a momma.
Kanga momma is wise in the mind and kind in the heart,
there's plenty to learn from Kanga momma.
Roo, our little one, is always a sweetheart.
A spoonful of honey with medicine may all it takes.
Like a bitter experience can always be overcome
by the sweet caring nature of the hearts.
Kanga momma, you're such a sweetheart.
The bond between Kanga and Roo,
a momma to a child,
can never be replaced by anyone.
So Kanga momma enjoy your days with Roo,
before Roo grows up and leaves the nest.
Pooh too will cherish our friendship
till the sun sets, till the end of time.
Take care my Dear Friends,
you shall always be in Pooh's heart.
Your Pooh Bear,
Always.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post
As the Pooh Bear friends wandered up the hill towards the cave they notice a strange
movement. It appeared as if the bottom of a bush was vibrating? They all drew closer to
this weird spot & noticed a tiny brown bug, hiding under a leaf, trembling with fear.
Upon a more focused squint, they could see it wasn't really a brown bug, there was once
black & yellow stripes, they'd just blurred together; there was a set of tiny tatted wings
that could obviously no longer fly.
But what struck the kind-hearted troupe the most, was the fear tinged with hope in the
little brown bees eyes. You see, it had been watching this loving group of friends,
laughing & playing as they approached.
It seemed this poor little blurred bee had suffered quite a lot of damage throughout it's
life, which led to it making many bad decisions - which eventually led to it being all alone.
A lonely little battered bee, who could only wish for the loving connection it saw in this
merry group of friends.
It could smell the honey & thought to itself 'I could make more honey for them, if only
I could reach a flower! Then maybe they'd like me!' So it gathered up all it's courage,
carefully moved it's front hand & pointed at the nearest flower.
Tiger leapt with excitement!, knowing exactly what the little bee wanted & instantly created
a hand-elevator. The little bee trusted Tiger & was soon emerging from the center of the
flower with a fresh new drop of honey.
Tiger's a bit bouncy for a broken little bee, so it bravely raised it's head & looked hopefully
at the others in the troupe; for someone that might let it crawl up onto their shoulder &
join them on their journey to the cave.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post
Thank you for your letter writing invite @Sophia1
I like the idea of being a gumnut baby sitting high in the trees and watching your antics. I think I will find this a cosy place with forum friends.
Love you all
