Well done for trying @Shaz51 . Perhaps you can try again soon. Just keep nibbling away. That's my strategy at the moment.

Help! I need to be accountable today. I want to do 3 hours' work on the house, with at least 1 hour being work on the kitchen (cleaning and tidying).
Sometimes I can fuss and faddle around doing tiny jobs (like disinfecting my hair ties) that ignore the major areas to tidy up...so today I want to tackle those.
A friend said she might drop round in early December. The 1st December is only 5 days away!! Generally I don't like having people in my house, but this will be a good motivation to clear up, I'm hoping...

.. been there , done that @NatureLover I would not let people in my flat that I lived in til 16 years ago. floor was covered in, every horizontal surface was. not clean, etc etc.
where I am now nothing in comparision, but have to keep on top of it.
I tidy., sort then clean. but if people coming then I can revisit it at least a couple more times afterwards.
so first step takes pressure off.
second step is a bit more serious
third step might even get you a compliment (only because it's me) but who cares ... lol

Hello @NatureLover stay away from your computer unless you need to today. Start small and then take it from there. Check in with us once you complete each task to tick it off. Today I am baking bread this morning and putting a load of washing through. Then will cook some treats for next week. OK now get the washing started. Good luck! We shall get there today

OK @NatureLover have put the washing machine on and the bread is baking. Just threw out some loo rolls. Next got to make some weetbix slice. Then some sweet potato bites. Feeling so unmotivated and sluggish but ticking things off as I go. Hope you are getting stuff done like me and @Shaz51 are. We shall conquer! lol! 😉

Please bake some extra bread for me! Sounds delish!
@NatureLover try making a list, put the jobs you most want done at the top of the list and then work your way down prioritising as you go. You could play the top of the hour game. At the top of each hour you madly clean for 15 minutes. Then you rest for 45 minutes. It’s amazing how much you can get done in 15 minutes of actively cleaning! Good luck.

@SmilingGecko @Dimity @Shaz51 @TAB @NatureLover
You guys have inspired me. I am going to make a list and work on it. All I got done yesterday was putting the Christmas tree up. Will come back and let you know how I go.
Thanks,
Meggle
