Re: The magic of tidying

Yes I know @Bill16 , that’s where I have been looking and on a decent sized block too. It should be great! Just have to talk hubby into the actual listing of our current house. But first a big decluttering sesh!

Re: The magic of tidying

i stayed in york for a month 2015 ish @Oaktree  yes, some weirdoes there lol some people very friendly after a while, but lots you would not want to know I think

here is what it is. just need to go away once a month or whatever. its somewhere to hole up. Im not a doer or a joiner. i think other towns around here friendlier than here. its a bit Blue Velvet here , w murders and people pulling guns on neighbours etc, some very strange people here. anywhere on main highway can be like that with the truckies that go through smuggling stuff etc

Re: The magic of tidying

Oh gosh @TAB

Probably safest to stick to yourself then. Doesn’t sound safe. Hubby and I pretty much like our own company too so I think we’ll be fine. I would like a bit of space to plant my avocado trees and some veggies. My avocados are in pots. I raised them from seeds this year. Probably be at least 10 years before I get any fruit if at all.

I bet you could bake your own bread if you gave it a try! ❤️

I actually have one too, @Former-Member ! I get it out about once a year and have a go for a few weeks. My neighbour bought one for $35 with free postage a few years ago, and the smell of fresh baked bread drove me nuts till I did the same (got the same deal too)!

very Good @NatureLover .. 111 is known as a Nelson' in English Cricket terms ..it relates to having only one of 3 body parts that there are usually 2 of

Re: The magic of tidying

Today I did a bit of decluttering in the spare room. Not much but it's a start.

@Oaktree last time I was in an opshop they still had cds and DVDs - I'm sure some people would still use them

@NatureLover @TAB 111 seems an auspicious number but maybe not for missing body parts

Re: The magic of tidying

Way to go @Dimity with decluttering the spare room

I started on my pile of paper but gave up and put it Away again 🙃
