The workman said we need to move everything. We will leave the large bookcases and the fridge and chest freezer. If they want those moved they will have to do it. They said they could move heavy things. We will take things off the tops of those things.

Fingers crossed for you @Oaktree I hope you have enough time and space to do it all.
Years ago someone on my Avon round loaded their houseful of stuff into a removal van while they got new carpet down.

I think we are winning. We are moving a few things and then taking breaks. Watching Marie Kondo on Netflix whilst we do it to give us motivation. I don’t think anything really brings me joy but those things are useful.

Well done @Oaktree . Attagirl, you can do it. Keep at it.

Thanks @Dimity
How are your sorting efforts going?
What are you doing with the boxes in your hallway? I love Marie Kondo! She is just so sweet.

I really liked her book @Oaktree .
I've left the boxes for now, they're books and quite heavy, too heavy for me really. I'm in a bit of a pickle about all the boxes I have in different places as I won't be allowed to lift more than 5 kg.
If the handyman needs them moved he can move them...

Having to do so much in a short time is really overwhelming. Good on you for keeping at it. I tend to procrastinate things but for this I don’t know how much time I have.
