I hear you, it can be really hard to make a connection with a GP who gets you. As I mentioned above, it's something you need to weigh up, but I guess it can't hurt to get another doctors opinion if you feel you can't wait it out till next week.
Or perhaps you could ask the practice if they would make an urgent appointment for you? I'm not sure if your practice has that option, but sometimes it can't hurt to ask...someone once said to me "If you don't ask, you don't get", and as hard as it is for me to advocate for myself at times, I really try to live by this mantra.

All good @ArraDreaming, all we can do is try. Just go gently today and make those little steps as kindly (to yourself) as you can make them.

Hey @ArraDreaming, I know you have your little one with you today, and that can make things tricky when it comes to self-care, but is there something small that you can put in place for yourself this afternoon? A lunch you'll enjoy, going for a walk to the park with your child, watching a movie together...anything that helps you get out of this space for bit?
