Well I just weeded some garden beds this morning. The weeds were easy to pull out. Was half an hour in the garden. Will do the rest tomorrow. Easy peasy. So glad it got done. Won't take long to get the rest out of the way. Have had a bird over two consecutive days build nests on my solar power inverter. I think the bird was building the nests overnight as they went up quite quickly. I think she got the message and flew away. No nest perched on my inverter today. Had to laugh about it. Well the garden is almost done. Got to go for a walk later on.

It's quite sunny out there today in Melbourne. Wasn't expecting that much heat on a mild looking day. Well I will have done 8 garden beds. I've noticed an uptick in my energy with gardening now which means I can get more done. Its nice having my hands in the soil. We had a mouse plague through here and didn't want them eating my produce so haven't done any planting in a while. Got a good crop of beetroot, carrots and silverbeet last time I planted. I have been saving seeds and keeping them in the fridge. It will be a dry hot summer going by what the bureau is saying. Want to grow some produce and dehydrate it for medium term storage @StuF

I can report that my recently planted seeds are now flourishing into summer salads, @SmilingGecko. Fresh seeds, fresh soil, shadecloth in this concrete desert and regular watering and fertilizing. Success!

Well done @Historylover I am working out what to plant around here. We had a major mouse plague through here and as you may know they eat produce out of gardens which is why I haven't planted anything for a while. But will squeeze in some weeding for today and my vegie garden will be done. Great to hear stuff is going well at bowls. People can be friendly but I do understand your apprehensions. How are your energy levels going on the depot injection? You said you were really tired. Have you thought of getting a chi machine? It gives the equivalent of walking a long distance without anything required of you. It will keep energy flowing through your body. Movement is health. On the depot you may find it hard to do much which is why I suggested it.
