I hear you and I understand  - this is very hard for you 

The magic word is "should". Your mother says they are old now and you should ring her  - wow  - how miserable! She's in my age group 

and my daughter and I just text each other whenever we do. 

And you ring her because you feel guilty  - no need for that  - she can easily pick up her phone and dial a number as anyone else.

Sheesh  - our mothers are so alike  - it's creepy  - like some kind of power play 🤨 - I was unhappy too and refused to play my mother's games and she hated me for that.

I know  - your MIL just died and your parents will too as mine have done and it's a tough reality  - however your mother has laid down the rules of this game and it's her choice and so there's no need to feel guilty 

I saw my mother dying with monstrous regrets  - I didn't like this at all but she chose to behave the way she did  - your mother is too 

I'm so sorry  - I know how it feels

well surprise surprise she called me. 
Everytime she calls it's a 2 min call. Hi how are you, how's everyone snd have you put your house for sale yet. as if I had time to get an evaluation this past two weeks. A funeral was more important. Don't even know why she asked. 
im not telling her when we decide to sell until I'm ready. She doesn't need to know. She's been trying to get me to buy near her. No bloody way sm I going close to them. It sounds horrible thst I tslking about my parents like this. 
i dont like her area anyway. Such a bad spot. Cheap but no I'm not going to her area. 
I can't deal with all this atm @Owlunar 
House snd job. Damn finances. I hate the way I'm living. I really hate it. 
I can't do this snymore. I just can't. I'm waking up exhausted and so tired during the day. 
I hope you start to feel better soon.

You don't have to deal with your mother  - and you don't have to like her  - put her onto the back-burner until you have the more important issues in your life under control 

You will deal with everything else if you manage one day at a time and one thing at a time  - that's the most anyone can do 

You've been through a lot recently  - it's natural to feel overwhelmed 

If you are sure you can't manage all this you need to get some help from your team and it does take time to get through grief 

You are doing a fantastic job with a lot on your plate 

I'm okay  - I'm fasting and resting and keeping my fluids up
