not coping

Re: not coping

i actually want to travel to the hunter valley @Jynx it is several hours from me but its suppose to be lovely. i dont drink wine or alcohol much at all but they do other tours and the markets are suppose to be really good as well. i honestly just like the idea of being in a quiet place with nice scenery away from everyone

Re: not coping

Oh how lush @outlander! I hope you can get out there and have your dream holiday. I honestly feel you on the quiet, scenic holidays being ideal! Like I couldn't imagine going on a holiday and saying "Ooh yes, New York City, let's go!"

It's why camping is such a fav pasttime of mine. Nothing but me and the trees! Do you like camping?

Re: not coping

i like glamping lol @Jynx i will stay in the bush but in a cabin lol

Re: not coping

Glamping also brilliant @outlander I'm with you!

I remember once my family stayed in this like... park ranger cabin? It was this little house out in the middle of nowhere in the bush, and had a generator and all the amenities. Which in my opinion is waaaay better than just getting a cabin at a caravan park - no neighbours! But whatever you can find is also good.

Do you like bush, rainforest, beach, or mountain best?

Re: not coping

i honestly dont mind @Jynx i think it depends on the location.
i like the idea of having rolling mountains to look over with paddocks and animals in view but i also like the ideas of sunrise/sunset beach walks.

i like rainforests but i dont like leaches! i will go for a walk through the forest to get to waterfall though! i just make sure i get covered in aeroguard and take a bottle of salt lol

Re: not coping

Ach it's all so lovely isn't it @outlander! I think mountainy rainforest is my fav, which is probably why I love Tassie so much!

Lol leeches are pretty awful, I totally get you! Funny story, when I was a kid, maybe like 7, my family went for a rainforest walk, and there were heaps of leeches. My mum had noticed me scratching at my... er, unmentionables. Kept telling me off, but we kept walking, but I couldn't stop scratching!

Yeah so turns out, a leech had crawled up into my undies! I screamed like mad, I think mum had to hold me down so they could get it off. Made for a pretty memorable walk! Hahaha

Re: not coping
