Oh how lush @outlander! I hope you can get out there and have your dream holiday. I honestly feel you on the quiet, scenic holidays being ideal! Like I couldn't imagine going on a holiday and saying "Ooh yes, New York City, let's go!"
It's why camping is such a fav pasttime of mine. Nothing but me and the trees! Do you like camping?

Glamping also brilliant @outlander I'm with you!
I remember once my family stayed in this like... park ranger cabin? It was this little house out in the middle of nowhere in the bush, and had a generator and all the amenities. Which in my opinion is waaaay better than just getting a cabin at a caravan park - no neighbours! But whatever you can find is also good.
Do you like bush, rainforest, beach, or mountain best?

Ach it's all so lovely isn't it @outlander! I think mountainy rainforest is my fav, which is probably why I love Tassie so much!
Lol leeches are pretty awful, I totally get you! Funny story, when I was a kid, maybe like 7, my family went for a rainforest walk, and there were heaps of leeches. My mum had noticed me scratching at my... er, unmentionables. Kept telling me off, but we kept walking, but I couldn't stop scratching!
Yeah so turns out, a leech had crawled up into my undies! I screamed like mad, I think mum had to hold me down so they could get it off. Made for a pretty memorable walk! Hahaha
