Re: Riding a wave

I am really in the dark here @Phoenix_Rising and unqualified to comment, but I just wanted to say I'm thinking of you. And @Teej - It can be so hard to see what's going on when you're in the thick of it. It sounds like you learnt a lot through all the big emotions and struggles.

Re: Riding a wave

Please know @Phoenix_Rising i have been writing that post since you said goodnight. Ive only just read the posts in between. I shall leave you with my thoughts above for when you can process it. I know it’s different but thought it might help if you saw a peer share their experiences as well.

Re: Riding a wave

@Faith-and-Hope There were no suggestions of how to edit it. I was simply told:

it breaches the guideline around respect:

  • is obscene or offensive
  • is malicious, personally attacking or hostile
  • may incite hatred or be seen as discriminatory
  • could be seen to be serving yours or somebody else’s commercial interests
  • could be interpreted as professional advice such as legal, medical, or financial advice.

HOW??? I feel terrified that they tell me my wonky communication is the issue, but they write brain-mushing stuff that NO ONE seems to be able to make sense of...and then they silence me from trying to seek help on making sense of it. This is utter utter utter brain-mushing stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was CALM. I was snuggling into bed, calm in the image of being safely with @NikNik in her nutella jar and then I got smashed again. I was IN BED. I was CALM. How can this be anything other than crazy-making stuff???????????

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Phoenix_Rising - i dont know that the cause of the distress is going to be able to be fixed or understood right now, but is there some way that we can support you in managing to ride through the moment and the big feelings? Im not sure if anything can help right now, other than letting you know that we're here...

Hugs @Teej and @Faith-and-Hope @frog

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Phoenix_Rising

I have sent you an email and am about to wrap up for the night.

You're welcome to continue to utilize the nutella jar.

I was trying to find the perfect image to finish up with....

download.jpeg

I don't think I've ever diclosed this before... but doughnuts are one of my favourite things next to nutella. I just discovered that these two things combine create the super turtle donutella.

I know it's tough, but I hope you can find that calmness tonight.

Re: Riding a wave

I don’t want to try to guess @Phoenix_Rising ..... because I might be wrong .....

We have all (or most of us) had posts removed before.  It’s not ever easy, and worse when we are already feeling badly about something ..... but feeling the way you are right now might not be the right time to sort it out .... and if the others involved don’t think as systematically and directly as you do, it might take translating into a more systematic and direct form.

Whatever the case, co trolled breathing  to slow the fight-or-flight reactions is important ..... can you do that now ..... ?  I think a few others of us are here at the moment ... me included .... and Apple cider cooked mussels are just as nice cold as they are hot ..... and they are good @Zoe7.

I will be here for a while .... floating about the ocean .... in a Nutella jar .... with a plate of mussels ....

Re: Riding a wave

@NikNik Isn't Donutella one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles???? LOL
