Loneliness
Hey there,
at the moment I am seriously struggling with loneliness. I have people around me but no one really other than paid professionals who understand.
I have complex PTSD from childhood trauma and I just always feel I live a life that is obscure.
i feel like I am eccentric and weird and no one understands what it is like and I just want to talk …..
but no one seems to want to listen.

Re: Loneliness
Hi and welcome, @Sara29 , it's good to have you here 🙂
We are here to listen.
You can type anything into the Search bar above to find threads on that topic (e.g. "loneliness", "CPTSD").
Also, a handy forum tip to tag someone is to type @ and then click on their name in the drop-down box - that way they'll get a notification that you've replied to them.
I hope you find the forums supportive...

Re: Loneliness
I feel pretty much the same way you do too. I think there are a lot of us out there that suffer from crippling loneliness. Lately I feel that I’m frozen and just not sure how to proceed.

Re: Loneliness
Hey @WolfSpirit,
Welcome to the Forums and thank you for sharing your thoughts with the community!
It sounds like you are struggling with loneliness in your life and that sounds really tough. You are demonstrating your resilience and strength being open about it here with your peers. It can be a common thing for us as we work through our mental health recovery to be isolated and lonely. I can relate as I was myself for a very long while and lost everyone when I got my diagnosis of schizophrenia back in 2016.
Have you heard of Meetup? It's great place where you can socialise and meet people who are also looking for connection. It was where I start socialising and learned to mix with other people and how I want to show up to the world.
Also, here is a previous post that lists some great places on the Forums to connect with others: Looking for a space to connect with others? Find a... - SANE Forums
And use the @symol to and the username of someone you want to tag, and it will email them to let them know!
Take care
