yesterday
Hello @Jynx thanks for sharing. I went across to the book listing on Amazon and read a review with someone doing a precis of all of the chapters of the first book you mentioned.
I allready knew my attachment style, I'm avoidant so I used to require lots of space in relationships and to be able to come and go on my own terms. Avoidant styles stem from from patterns of family abuse and neglect. I can see how a piece of literature such as this can be useful in understanding how people relate to eachother and removing the confusion surrounding how people act and behave. I'm approaching 60 years old now.
I think having my meridians balanced has boosted my energy levels and is sending clear channels of energy to my organ systems so an uptick in overall functioning. It also makes you feel more at ease and improves concentration and aptitudes. When energy is flowing properly you feel a lot better! I think acupuncture is not feasible in the long term on low incomes. Acupuncture requires meridians to stick so it needs up to 7-8 treatments in a row at $65 a pop!
Let me know how you go with it. Lovely seeing you out this way again. Enjoy your week.

@SmilingGecko I've been finding attachment theory super interesting of late, so these have definitely been a ripper of a read!
Oh my lawd that IS expensive! I've never had acupuncture though and have really wanted to try it, so maybe that first, and then maintenance with meridian work? Hmm food for thought ay!
Back at you friend! Have a splendid week, may it bring you what you're needing 😊💜

@TAB hey tabby, it's not easy to stay sane with my condition. My friend irl points out there are homeless, hungry people with no hope in life pit there. He thinks I need to realise that I am lucky. Ha. Last couple days I on and off feel losing it a bit with my mind. Guess when I am bad enough, I will join the homeless, hungry and no hope in life one's ha ha
