Re: Tabaluga's

so sorry to hear he had such a hard time, life was hard for my grandmother and my dad, his family fell apart after the war, none of the family want anything to do with me, they told me at 8 they never wanted to speak to me ever again. no good comes out of war @TAB im worried about the young generation trying to revive the right movement, they have no idea the damage it does.

Re: Tabaluga's

..true @Jacques .. the War defined his life pretty much. No homecoming as viet vets like to say.

Just hate. and nightmares.

He was on the Russian Front 1943 to 1945 . He say things no one should have seen or done for that matter. He was very dismissive about after effects of the War , like the no one in whole family even got wounded ??

he left for overseas in early 1950s think ie australia and aftermarried my mother got her to write to his family in /english.  he refused to.

eventually he went back jsut b4 wall came down he said australia was best country in the world after he got back . He was disappointed in what Germany had become.

yes, school friends were in places like Brazil lol think he had a very shady past , just had cover it up re father.siblings tried to get EU passports , couldnt as some document was missing (why?) (true identity?)  he told sibling that he knew  someone who became australian citizen around the time he did to close off a trail..

My uncle was a machinist in Vietnam @Jacques @TAB moving from place to place fixing machine guns, his first taste of war was a bloke jumping out of the chopper to his death

@saturnzoon

I hope you were able to sort the scam out. Agh nightmare.
Too many these days.

I felt a bit frazzled myself today also. Once I can feel the negative one has completely left my home, I’ll feel at peace. ❤️
