Re: Tabalugas

Hello, friend!

We’re pleased you want to join us to make energy cheaper and more reliable for you and your community.

The Community Power Network depends on enough people getting together to install solar and say no to retail electricity bills. Once the minimum number of people in your community have registered their interest, we’ll contact you to join.

Until then, we’ll send out regular updates for your Community Power Network and for others launching in Australia. Look out for them in your inbox.

Thank you for being a part of this people-powered movement!

Re: Tabalugas

Is the Community Power Network different to your local Council? Seems like there may be options but by God its obscure. You would think the SA Government would make it easier for people. ChatGBT seems to know information! lol I even asked it about my ipod issue today after speaking to you and it came up with the same info as you plus several other pieces useful data @TAB See here:

Re: Tabalugas

I asked ChatGBT about accessing a vehicle and it suggested car sharing services. I thought yeah big deal. Went to a facebook budgeting page and it came up with ubercarshare.com you can rent out a car from someone's driveway locally. There were quite a lot of local cars which was surprising as I am on the outskirts of town. Its not the same as uber but possibly cheaper. I need a car to take me to a natural spring to draw water if the grid goes down and theres no water supply @TAB The car was $28 plus .43c/km Also came up with an old post I did called Rentoid could possibly rent out a lawnmower and get rid of my lawnmowerman to save money

Re: Tabalugas

Re: Tabalugas

Good night @TAB I've got to take my meds and start winding down for the night. I hope you are able to sleep well tonight compared to last night

@tonys how are you going? Haven't spoken to you in a while. Youre sounding good. I have just been getting all kinds of advice from ChatGBT regarding my new ipod which locked because I did not enter correct password for my wifi and organising car rental from someones driveway using a community online hub. TAB even got the heads up on how to go solar with subsidies from his local council with it. Pretty amazing. It really helps with your independence. Better than trawling around the net looking for info! lol

Re: Tabalugas

Yes its been a little bit @Former-Member ,  but I  recon people, who are close just hop straight back into

the warm meal they were sharing,  without skipping a beat.

Actually I was just working on a nice little surprise for you this weekend.  Something you Apple n Glisten

and a few others got me thinking deeply about  before Christmas.  Should be on your table Saturday,  NBN  permitting.

You know,  I don't have grid solar on the new place,   The old farm house has a similar setup to a boat.

Independent  12 volt wiring through the house. and a few inverters near the 240 volt things that need it.

All supplied from some 200 amp hour battery's fed from a wind generator and some panels.

Air cons are the only thing that need mains but they are not used often.  If the mains go down, I don't actually notice it. I can't sell power back to the grid, but they don't offer much out here anyway.

If you go to a place that sells large motor homes,  or boats,   well ,   lets just say,  I pinched all their idea's

So they charge me about $110,   for supply,  and 20 to 30 bucks for actual usage a quarter.  That would be the air cons,  occasionally amps speakers projector,   well,  you know. . . toys.

But. . .   now you pair are researching and doing the grid connect kit,  well I'm sure going to run my ruler over it again.

I always say,  if someone can show me a better way,   I'm  all  ears.

Chat  GBT,  I've heard of it.  Never tried it.  Now you have given it the nod.  I'm sure going to give it a go.

Lets face it  SG..   Bloke like me needs all the help he can muster. . .

Any incoming comets. .    Don't forget,    warn me.

You sound good SG.  Lots of little projects on the go.   A firm hand on the tiller of your health and

spiritual well-being.

A lot of us look up to you  Smiling Gecko.      The night,  warmly welcomes your smile.  Gnite mate

tonys..
