Re: Tabalugas

Hey @TAB I usually keep my thermostat at 22 degrees. Tried putting it up to 24 like you but a bit hot. Have you thought of lowering your thermostat? Its very comfortable here at 22 degrees.  I know you don't want to rack up your electricity bill. Has your aircon got an auto feature so it only cools once the temp rises and stops once its at a certain level? Thats a great way to keep bills down.  Sorry for mentioning exercise yesterday it must be really hard going in that extreme heat. I thought the aircon may have cooled things down a bit ❤️

Re: Tabalugas

Yes I know. But I do like it cold - just do it for my diabetes. Blood sugars go up in extreme heat. Same with wintery extreme cold. I hope youre ok I sensed you were struggling in the heat after your last post @TAB. How are you going @Oaktree, so youre doing volunteer work at the hospital. I used to work in an intellectual disability institution at one stage had only a few good staff which is to be expected in a place like that. The residents were lovely however. I hope you enjoy doing the volunteer work. Its good to get out of the house

Re: Tabalugas

Just sick of the heat @SmilingGecko . Just lying in bed w min bedding in dark atm. Got to get moving

Re: Tabalugas

Yes I hear you @TAB heat exhaustion is real!!!  Just hopped off my chi exercise machine. The movement early in the morning is energising. Thanks for suggesting me to do something with my medication induced zombiefication lol I feel a LOT better. You don't have to do anything you hold your feet in a cradle and the machine swirls your legs like a fish.  It feels so good afterwards

Re: Tabalugas

@TAB hey tabby, done a bit of kettlebells. Done some more tidying. May be the day is done. Just rest now

Re: Tabalugas

Hello @Meowmy youre really good with those kettlebells. I've seen some at the op shop in years gone by.  It must make your muscles strong. I don't know what you'd do with them. Have never seen an exercise video with kettlebells before. You must educate us

Re: Tabalugas

..I find a shower energising @SmilingGecko  lol had a hydralite as well, think a few more during the day.

Reminds me of a guy at a job I took after finished at uni.

..I hadnt worked for years in my trade, well did apprenticeship plus they let me hang around for 6 months to get another job, then 2 years of being thrown in deep end with labour hire when it first started.

..anyways.. go this like factory worker job making parts for gym gear and this guy would give me a lift to other side of town where it was.

So .. one morning he and his mate chuffing on cigs (ok this guy wasnt quite all there, he could function, but it came out later he had spent a long time in this govt rehab place after a car accident.) so he could be a bit unpredictable..so along came bike riders all dressed up, fit , was very cold and barely daylight if it was.. He looks at them and says.. better off having a big shit than doing that .. dont think laughed at time as car trip was a bit tense at times.. they hated me opening windows with them smoking in the car etc. still funny now tho lol as in morning routines .. massive bike ride in cold ..or ... his idea .... ha ha ha
