Re: Tabaluga's

I have been out of circulation with friendships for quite a while @TAB Had two friends die in the last 10 years and prior to that another friend. Been alone for a long time now.  Its hard meeting the right kinds of people. We had a bit of a clan full of interesting characters. My friend opened her home to many people. The hospitality was amazing. It was a ramshackle old house that was falling down but the door was always open to people. We shared food over many discussions, it wasn't about the food but what we shared together and by the way she made everyone welcome. It was a once in a lifetime friendship. Irreplaceable.  Have been thinking of her today, I don't think I will quite get over it.  Have met people since but you just can't replicate that. I'm grateful for what had come to pass but kind of wonder about the future.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Former-Member that is one of the most beautiful descriptions of a friendship, that I have ever read.

That wonderful person, what an inspiration.

My daughter Bee & I use to have “orphans Christmas”. Friends who were travelling, who knew other people travelling through the city and others who were done with the family stuff from morning until after lunchtime.

We got two blow up swimming pools and 3 blow up palm trees. Everyone bought food leftovers. It was so much fun.
