yeah, just cant get comfortable in bed yest and today @Meowmy just waiting for something to go wrong I think. Worried about Christmas, okay will get over that. Really need swim and massage, back is bothering me. that would help. taken meds, not that have any real ' night' meds .. just for back etc. still not going to be cold tonight.ok def not warm, but nowhere as much bedding as was using 1 month or two ago .. maybe my metabolism is changing ha ha lol. brother said could stay at his place couple weeks after xmas. may try and re-connect w kids ha , doubt would work. have nothing to do with any of family really. sister is nuts/wont talk/older brother can talk on email if we dont say anything too serious, just mucking around mainly like your football team is crap or I did better at trivia today etc. younger brother very busy, but he makes no effort. dont think any of them will ever come here. ok sister prob has been here looking around, but would not have told me ha ha lol

Yes so true @TAB forgot about floors and triple glazed windows!!! My rates are a highway robbery. I just pay it off fortnightly. The council has never complained and no sheriffs at the door so far. Been like that for years until the pandemic hit with cost of living issues. I live in a growth corridoor area and the rates are worse than Toorak. I don't benefit at all from rates other than getting bins put out and the occasional visit to the local library which I think is covered by rates.

my older brothers house is in what was a pretty ordinary suburb like 20 years ago til people realised it was close to the city. he paid 140k or so , got old hovel demolished and got a volume builder $130k special ok 15-20 years ago now. it doubled in value after covid, supposedly worth $800k now yet he pays next to no rates he says. cant remember the number maybe $2k thats ludicrous they pay $2.5k rates on $120k dump in Coolgardie lol. mine are $1600, and they send bill quarterly, but have the option of not paying and just owing them money til I sell or die or whatever lol @Former-Member

Yes I can't remember how much mine were but quite pricey. Just pay $50 or so fortnightly until you pay it off. It worked for me in the past @TAB I know the cost of living pressures. Rang my brother and left a message. Don't know whats going down with him. We have no contact really, its not congenial.
Just trying to work out what I'm doing for xmas. Got the food situation sorted. I do eat organic but I eat simply. Can't justify overindulgence you feel yuk the next day, so it will be a light meal that I love cooking and some healthy snacking.
It would be nice if our siblings took a different approach but I've relengated that to the too hard basket. I just live for myself these days. Had a friend who hated xmas and used to eat Red Rooster in the park. We used to talk on xmas day. Miss her like anything, she was a fantastic person. You couldn't have asked for a better friend.

..yeah my óld' friend keeping low profile lately. they would know what they are doing for xmas already @Former-Member think will be me and poss few decorations and cook a roast or something. still not 100% about younger brother , but if i dont now, when will i, guess and not been there for over 5 years. text friend has disappeared yet again , so must have found someone again. i even started to talking to another ex of old friend . dont think thats happening again. he goes off on tangents, knows everything about all unimportant things in the world. anyway got given their number as friend thought i could get him to do some work here/ or buy some of his house full of furniture, well some things just not worth the bother i guess lol...
