Hello @TAB hope youre doing better today. Told @StuF that electrician inspector came yesterday and I am now onboard with solar power. Shepherds pie is good, sounds healthy. I'm sorry things aren't going your way. Its normal to get down over things we are unhappily contending with. For the last couple of weeks things have been hard for me but I'm getting there.

Just learning a few new things today @TAB have to print some documents at Officeworks. Its good to have locks but I heard any crim can pick a lock according to what I've seen in the preparedness community. I ended up buying an extendable wedge for my door last year so people can't break in. I got the heads up from a preparedness expert who runs a big company that does lab testing for food as well as an online platform for preparedness. Bought from Amazon last year. Its what he recommended. Mine is as sturdy as a rock. At least folks can't break in at night.

yeah I know the old anyone can get in if they want to thing @Former-Member and have seen some real eye openers, that you dont even see on youtube lol , but and half determined 10 yo could get in here atm, its stupid old locks can slide credit card in and push the tongue back lol so thats going too far.
just confirmed my suits ok , was worrying about moth balls, turns out suit all artificial, rang shop they said, leave in bag , nothing ever eat it. so one less worry.
cleaned under kitchen table which I live at, well here and in bed lol if not in oneam at the other..spider got upset, swept around it instead of sweeping up and throwing out, b@stard just climbed up my arm lol
2nd load of washing on, doing a mat as well ha ha was filthy, ok that was from where I sit, was doubled twice to try and keep feet away from cold floor.
Had rest now, time to hang first load of washing out w big sunnies on lolo @Meowmy @StuF think might go to shop after then then smash some beers ha ha lol @Bill16

ok saw pics, those things prob not much use @Former-Member
go to hardware and ask for actual wedges and tap them in under door in line with door handle
that would do it re link or get wooden ones
https://ldgdesigns.com.au/products/multipurpose-jambit-wedges/
2nd link looks pricy, sure cheaper ones around like ebay etc

actually those wooden wedges are $20 for 24 and free postage @Former-Member im going to buy some lol.. come in handy for all sorts of things, propping doors open, leveling things, use them to square things up when making things etc

Yes thanks I checked them out @TAB. I'm happy with my door wedges though. I did read lots of reviews before buying them and they are well made and heavy. I surprised myself when I opened the package at the quality of manufacture and design. It will have to do. I have been doing some word processing today and will do more tomorrow, got to break it up into manageable chunks. Lunch now.

well hope your props work . they are not wedges.
the only thing stopping door openign with them is friction between the foot and the floor, I would be surprised if they work. just give it a sharp jolt back and forth and it would fall off
whereas actual wedge is all mechanical. Near impossible to move , easier to cut door off
@Former-Member
with actual wedge, the more you push on it the tighter it wedges itself in
