I have always been told I was crazy so getting another diagnosis was just another smack in the face. but learning more about BPD is actually helping me really understand me as a person. 

SANE has been a massive help for me. with these forums and being able to talk to others that understand.

I’ve been in treatment for PTSD for about a year, and benefited from participation in SANE’s guided service. I’m supposed to be getting involved with some mental health peer support / storytelling related volunteering this year and wanted to connect with others more on this forum. 

Day-to-day challenges for me are feeling really alone, especially in my work environment where people aren’t that considerate, hypervigilance /anxiety, and my ability to connect to others in my friendships and family relationships. 

Aside from that, as you can guess by my username, I like ice skating and hope to do more of it this year! I also like reading, and doing crafting activities.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not to sure if this group is for older people. I'm going through peri menopause... my anxiety and depression is so up and down.  Is this right space for me. Or do I need to find something else? thanks
