Hi @Dimity
and others here
Thank you for that reminder and reassurance @Dimity of the personal reinforcement of writing our thoughts and also having a record of them for ourselves and others.
Another consideration that was on my mind in the last few minutes was why I like to include other members in my posts and encourage others to do so, particularly on this thread. The answer to that is:
There may be, and very likely are, other reasons why I, and I hope others, enjoy participating in the thread.
With Best Wishes

I can't sleep, I came back as i thought i might catch you @HenryX but it seems I won't.
I read your post, something I wasn't able to do earlier due to my headspace being overwhelmed with its own thoughts.
This is wonderful news Henry!!!
"Because of the severity of the depression that I experienced, it had been suggested that I may require to take the anti-depressant medication for the rest of my life. It seems, now, that I may not have to, which is one of the goals toward which I reach."
You must feel pretty chuffed? You should. You've worked hard. I'm happy to hear this.
I had to call my brother tonight and suggest he comes to NSW if he is to see our father. It may mean he gets stuck here due to borders but I had to put the logistics aside and be truthful that if he waits he may miss out.
Heartbreaking Henry, I don't want to join the "grief" club. Wish you were here...
Take care dear Henry 🙏

Hello @Anastasia
Thank you so very much for having written your note to share your position right now.
I believe that I can understand that issue of "head-space" to which you refer. Simply not being able to think or to interact with others by which we might add more complexity to the already over-whelming sensations being experienced.
And then, thankfully, having the peace and a short time of clarity, when we are able to write our thoughts and wishes, even if briefly.
The fact that you have been able to convey to your brother, the situation and, as you say, the logistics, means that appropriate decisions can be made. I recall that I was very pleased that I was able to let my cousin, who is Mum's niece, with whom there was a very special bond, know in time for her to visit and still enjoy some special time.
I am also, as I have stated, so very fortunate to have been able to share the time with Mum that I did. No apologies for mentioning Mum, as that is the frame of reference through which I believe that I can connect with your feelings at the present time.
Thank you again, for the positive sentiments and affirmation that you have offered with regard to my own recent progress and developments.
I am certainly pleased to be able to share with you the 'walk' or just sitting, as appropriate, at the present time and connect in any way that we can in this forum environment, in mutual support.
With Care, Concern and Best Wishes

Thank you for your kind words @HenryX
I'm sorry you can relate...
My father was transported to emergency early hours, I am with my mother sitting on the edge of our seats waiting...
I hope you don't mind me tagging @Appleblossom @Emelia8 @NatureLover @Eve7 to let them know
I made Mum and I a cuppa. She had a sip and said "is yours hot?"
I forgot to boil it!!!
Take two was hot.

I've popped back after work as I saw this in my email notifications, @Anastasia 😞
I notice you haven't been back online since then, so I'm fearing bad news 😞
How awful to have to sit at home and wait. No wonder you forgot to boil the kettle. Has there been any news? 💔
Hi @HenryX , thanks for having me on your thread...
