My dentist said that too much vinegar was breaking down my teeth. But I can’t give up vinegar. I love it on a lot of things. I guess I will end up with dentures too

@Adge thanks for your response.
When I was 18 I started working for Western Mining Corp in their mineral lab and the chemicals (mostly acids) I worked with took the enamel off my teeth, or so my dentist at the time told me.
I went to another dentist and mentioned this and the dentist said it wasn't true. My teeth were pretty much okay for the most part and aside from a couple of fillings and a root canal I have had no problem until these past couple of years. Surely if our bones can get brittle our teeth can?
At the moment I'm not working so I can't afford to be paying out for extensive dental care even with the added dental cover in my health insurance. I don't like the idea of dentures but fear it may be the only option.
I have contacted the govt dental service and am waiting for an appointment which I'm told could be several weeks.
I don't know if menopause has anything to do with it in my case, my GP said it doesn't but it's all happened around the same time.
Worst part is that it's my front teeth that are affected and I am embarrassed to open my mouth. Hard when you are applying for jobs and going for interviews!

@Oaktree surely you'd have to be drinking a heck of a lot of vinegar straight without a straw to have such a negative effect on your teeth?

I smile as I read your letter @Historylover . I thought you a man, Then a woman, always a person.
always a lonely person. I thought you an image in a black n white movie, yearning and deserving to be wrapped in colour. To walk of that screen, and into the real world of realization dreams and fanciful play..
But most of all . . . . I thought you a friend, and always will.
The book keeper had her birthday today, and thank goodness all my black market fire works, worked.
But, it was not them I looked at. As she looked up delighted in gasps and sighs,
I was transfixed , by the fires in her eyes.
As the years mellow us, we give a sad farewell, and grateful thanks for the banquette of yesterday.
and as for tomorrow's . . . well, there is no greater gift than a tomorrow. Even without love,
A tomorrow, is one more chance to find love.
Thankyou so much for your thoughtful wishes @Oaktree . B Kpr thanks you too. . . with a kiss
Waiting for Mr Oaktree to wake..? I love just watching our loved ones sleep. Resisting the urge to
tease a coil of golden hair. I once saw her lips curl in a little smile while a single tear rolled down her cheek. I would give all I own, and my last day on earth, to have seen for a second, through her eyes, that dream.
Hello @Shaz51 How is Mr Shaz.. Soft treats and the poultice of your healing hands upon him.
I hope he returns to full health soon , and your good spirits restored.
OH. . . my birthday you ask. I once found a manufacturers date stamped on my old chassis, but I'm afraid it has log since rusted away. . . My birthday is . . . . . all your birthdays. Every time I
see someone has lived through every emotion and made it through another year, well . . . I'm
in awe of that, and your courage, struggles, and triumphs are gifts enough for me...
@saturnzoon . . Lift that chin mate. Your hiding that beaut smile, I just know you have. I know its hard my friend. Covid can persist for quiet some time, and like most bullies, it prays on the weak..
Pretend I'm watching you with a stern eye, and make sure you eat lots of fruit and veg. Hugs tns..
Well . . By now , you probly guessed correctly, I have given the bubbly more than a good nudge, and best get back to the party. Best wishes and big hug around you all, wish you were here with us too.
Bonfire embers and stars are locked in mortal combat for attention. I'll sleep next to one, and dream
neath the other tonight. Nite all.

and happy.. bye folks.. tonys..

Quick post before I pop another cork. Hey @ENKELI I like your considerate approach about "triggers"
I want to thank @greenpea and you for Vast music. For me a trigger is a good thing now n then.
A damn good cry, is a dam released. A heavy drape thrown open to spill shafts of hope in again.
So much intense intent is worked into some songs to do that very thing perhaps. Help us push through the pain.
Teeth... Well, calcium is an element. but teeth are about mineral "compounds" . Other elements
bonded with calcium. Remineralizing our teeth. In small ways its possible. Things like Kelp powder,
and calcium magnesium supplements. But . . . they should be , "chelated compounds". These are more readily absorbable. Even if you don't brush after food n drink. a quick rinse with water,
will help. If you buy calcium and magnesium tablet. chew them up fine, to a paste and keep it in your mouth as long as you can stand it. Cation exchange is possible between these compounds,
and your teeth to help a little with remineralization..
Big thankyou to all those who sent the book keeper birthday wishes. I showed them to her. I had no Idea she was so popular, Take care all.. Back to the party. Guitars are coming out... Time to go make a fool of myself . . . . again.. tns.
@Emelia8 @TAB @ENKELI @Meowmy have a nice time at church meow.. nite all.
