Re: Good Morning!

Hey @MDT  and @StuF  @TAB @tonys @saturnzoon @Shaz51

@EternalFlower Lovely to hear from you. Glad you have good trees around. It can make a difference.

@Former-Member I will look into EFT a little. Love your idea of quietude as a goal for this year. I am going for a bit more action this year, but had that peaceful quiet living as my goal for many years.  I feel fortunate to say I can tick that box and add a bit.

@Glisten

Loved wot U wrote

"The unconscious mind is a powerful force.

You got to use EVERYTHING to deprogram and reprogram the unconscious. Not to mention trauma trapped in your nervous system.

It was all regarded as being very woowoo, but now has been given the

 of approval by science boffins.

You got to stay at it. Repetition to map a new neural pathways.

It can be physically exhausting re-wiring the brain 🧠 "

Will be paying attention to that kind of thing more this year.

Have a good 2024 everybody!

Re: Good Morning!

Yes I plan to use EFT to decondition myself of my mental loops playing in the background @Appleblossom I use it with a personal evolution system called Human Design. Want to go past delimiting psychological patterns to move my life in a better direction. That is what I'm doing this year, just going into retreat and doing lots of self reflection. May socialise a bit if possible and have some casual catchups with people that I meet in the new year

Re: Good Morning!

Sounds like a plan @Former-Member

I have found a lot of alternative therapies too expensive to do a lot of, so I understand you being careful about it all financially.  I try and do them by teaching myself a lot, or scanning the internet for useful stuff.  You do have a great attitude to working on yourself and your environment.  Even though I started off more boffiny that arty farty. I am lucky in getting the best of both worlds over my whole life.  We should not put science on a pedestal, cos then it becomes a false idol.

I bought a hardcopy colouring in anatomy book a few years ago which I have started using. I am big on using what I have got, and being very slow to bring new stuff into the house.  So still sciencey bent, but def recognise the important of the spiritual. Curious about it and try applying things without being too .... superior ... or virtue signalling about it .... people are complicated and society is complicated... and it keeps changing.

Cheers Gek ...

Re: Good Morning!

Awesome quote @Appleblossom @Glisten

I agree

Re: Good Morning!

@MDT  @Appleblossom   I think I have some sort of brain 🧠 damage?

Because I often post in many threads, I have scrolled back to see what post of mine, someone is referring too. Often only having a vague memory that I posted a comment, with no recollection of what I said in the post.

As I’m looking for my post on a thread, I’m reading everyone else’s posts.
I read from the bottom up, so I read the content before the name of who posted it.

LOL - I’m reading a post and think, this person smart. Get to the top of the post and see my handle - hilarious and concerning at the same time.

Re: Good Morning!

Haha could just be a quirk @Glisten

I find I do the same. But in real life too. Forgetting where I pit stuff, being clumsy etc.

Its funny coz my partner does it but I find it cute. Yet hate it I'm myself. Odd right?

What a piece of work is a man! how noble in reason! how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world! the paragon of animals!
