Re: Good Morning!

Hello doll @saturnzoon xmas is particularly hard for people with mental illness. I have not celebrated in many years.  I understand your feelings about not having access to your family. It must pain your heart. Lots of us will be on here on xmas day including myself. In my case I've been like the Oracle of Delphi speaking too soon and been punished by the Gods with people in my life who were not ready for things I had to convey. So I've found myself alone apart from many people dying in my life.  It has been hard but I just try and pick myself up on xmas. I hope you are able to find some spaces of respite inbetween. It usually passes very quickly. By Boxing Day I'm usually glad xmas is over. I'm hoping you we be allright and feel the same. Sending you my best wishes for now.

Re: Good Morning!

Interesting, @Former-Member. I said to my ex-psychiatrist decades ago that I felt like Cassandra, fated to tell true prophecies but not to be believed. I never lie, or even exaggerate, and my truths are not believed either. And guess what my recent Tribunal lawyer's name was? I couldn't help but see the irony.

Re: Good Morning!

OMG well thats telling you something @Historylover! Maybe you are here to shake people out of their complacency and comfortable realities/constructs. I noticed recently Lisa Curry, former swimmer only divulged her teenage abortion in a recent book having been kept secret most of her life. It would not have been a good look in the 1980's so it was kept secret from family and friends, she told NOBODY. I also saw reference to the fact her daughter had been ill and she was quoted as saying, "one day I might talk about it publicly" and I just knew the daughter had mental illness.  So it turned out she recently came out and said her daughter had mental illness. Sometimes you only got to do it when the time is right. I learned that recently from Lisa Curry. Sometimes the oracle can only speak to what people are ready for.

Re: Good Morning!

Good morning Forumites. How lucky are we to have each other @Historylover, @Former-Member , @TAB@saturnzoon@tonys

I learn a lot from all of you.

The wind is 30kmph off the Darling Ranges KattaMorda and there is thousands at T-ball today. Now where is Field 1? 🫡

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @Glisten @Historylover @TAB @saturnzoon  @TonyB @MDT

@Former-Member You wrote : People kept going on about my achievement but it was all parrot fashion learning not true education. Its how they keep higher education more cost effective via what is called "the banking method" where they just cram people in a theatre and dump info into your brain." I found your perspective really interesting. It explains a lot about Commerce types.  I can see you had a big shift in direction and priorities.

Keep giving to the crew ....

cheers Apple

Re: Good Morning!

lol @Glisten  .. what was the story about Darling Ranges being Garden of Eden again, something to do with $2 coin ?  part of bibbulman track was on a list somewhere once.

EDIT ok think I meant Stirling Ranges

Re: Good Morning!

Hello  @saturnzoon  ,   Mate I'm sorry.   That cant feel too good.  Parts of you,  far n wide,   and an unforgiving red landscape between.  Phones and devices just aren't up to refreshing the chemical bonds that a mother needs with those dearest to her.  Only a,  crush hug ,  will do.      A recluse  building islands of despair    How do we salvage  from adversity and build something seaworthy.

Its different for all,  or is it.  I watch how woman bond together,  circle the wagons,  and support each other.   I'm envious.    We have to meet as many people as we can to find the right ones.  Each comes to your shipyard with a plank,  a nail,  piece of rope,   And a professional shipwright guides you with a plan.     Least that what saved me from the deep blue sea.    Good health worker,  loyal friends,  and most importantly,    'relentless'  will and strength to find them.

Till then,    we form a circle,  hold hands,   and say,   We too,   are willing sailors,  at your service whenever needed,   till  your tall ship  rights  its course..

Hope its ok if I say hi to your other friends.

@Former-Member    @Historylover   @TAB  @MDT   @Appleblossom  @StuF  @Meowmy

@Kyle   @Glisten     @Shaz51    @     Well there's heaps of them  and  and  tea n cake trolly's here.  Mans tummy grumbles,   then its time to go..

So thankyou for sharing with us @saturnzoon   "Gee I love that handle "

We,  just like you,   are always searching for the answer.     Here for you. .                          tonys

Re: Good Morning!

You said "Maybe you are here to shake people out of their complacency and comfortable realities/constructs". Exactly what I was told to do, @Former-Member, and it only served to alienate me completely.

As for my family, it seems we've all made our beds and are all sleeping uncomfortably in them. What a mess.

And as for Lisa Curry, some truths are a difficult burden regardless of how right they seemed to be at the time. There are consequences for our every action.

So-called 'mental illness' abounds if people would look in their own mirrors. The actor's guild must be full of it. That and the modern music industry. They seem to be dropping like flies lately, and it's more than age related.

Wish this was more positive. I guess I'm just not feeling it. Trying to get independence working between my left and my right hand on my keyboard is quite a task—especially when each 4th finger hides when it is expected to perform. Today is a two step backward day. At least it hasn't yet been packed away yet.

Time for cake!

I hope your good start to the day has continued throughout. 🌞

Re: Good Morning!

@tonys, your turn of phrase astounds me. 🌞
