Good morning, @Former-Member. Oh, yes, I remember asking you about that $250 before. Thanks again.
Sounds like you really needed a new pair of shoes, @Former-Member. So pleased you were able to get them on sale too. I think I am having a bit of a splurge at the moment because I'm always so thrifty and just needed to throw caution to the wind for a while. Not that I'm buying anything extravagant, it just seems that everything is wearing out at once, and when they are replaced I will go back to my usual frugality.
As for my feet, I may ask the doctor next time I'm there. I always worry in case I'm holding the dr. up. I go with a list and still don't attend to everything. I did a quick search and learned that diabetes was necessary for certain treatment conditions.
Not much on today. I may not go out for a walk. Rather chilly here. I was expecting more warmth. I did some keyboard practice then set up my vegetable pots for some summer vegetables. It was nice to get my hands dirty. I hadn't been having a lot of luck and had given up for quite a while, but I'm back on board again. Fingers crossed.

Medical practice has lost its medical nature, @Glisten. It's just a business today. I think I may have found a good GP at last though. He's on probation at the moment.

Hello @JRMum I need a haircut myself. I have been putting it off. Will go next week sometime when its not so busy. The place I go to is value for money and efficient compared to upmarket salons. The people there care about their customers and always do good cuts. They are really popular amongst the local families. Its nice to know you'll get a cut you are happy with.

Yeah had these shoes for over a year and was walking in them everywhere @Historylover. Splurging is ok once in a while. I set up a future fund account in a separate community credit union bank and will be putting aside money each fortnight for emergencies. I did have an emergency fund but had to buy that refurbished Android and get house repairs.
I have ust had my vegie patch weeded. I don't think I'll be doing any seedlings until the next new moon. They don't usually grow well after a full moon. Its a full moon tomorrow morning if you did not know. By the way there are seed swapping groups on facebook that would be willing to send you free seeds in the mail. I know you are on a tight budget but there are people that have surplus seeds they can post to you. I have done that and got great little seeds in the past. I know you don't have much space there but some free seeds may give you a bit more enjoyment out of your patio garden
