Thanks, @TAB. I'll keep it in mind when I next see a GP. I don't cost them much so a few free consultations would go over well.

Yes its hard @Historylover my comfort shoes that were worn out from walking needed replacement today. They were worn on the ball and the side of the heel of my shoes were totally worn off. I did not know what to do and wondered when Rivers would have another sale and sure enough notification of a 24hrs big sale at Rivers arrived in my e-mails today so did a Pay in 4 through Paypal.
Yes you may be entitled to what is called a Care Plan through your GP. Mine was signed up when I got diabetes. I learned about it through a nurse. I don't know quite how well it would work in your case but maybe research Care Plans. I have a facebook friend who is a former nurse so I can ask for you. She was the person that alerted me to this. I might be wrong but they may draw up Care Plans once you hit a certain age group. Anyway its worth looking into. I will ask this nurse for you and see what she has to say.
And yes there is a $250 utilities grant. I signed up a few months ago. You can only get it if you can't pay your utilities bills this time, its not a $250 deposit into your account. (It covers each of water, electricity, gas) So you contact all your utilities providers separately for these utilities grants
I have always been able to pay my bills but the customer service lady told me to cancel my fortnightly Centrepay arrangements and to let the bills accrue. BTW You have to get approval from the government through your utilities provider so there is a waiting period.
Even if you get a high bill I was told not to panic that it would get covered by the utilities grant and if in the event of something going really wrong I could just reinstate my Centrepay arrangements through Department of Social Security and not have to worry about paying a large lump sum. The payments would just keep revolving fortnightly without being out of pocket.

Hello @Glisten . Temp and humidity hey precise and concise. I like that in a person. I haven't looked at my min max thermometer in years and it spends its neglected life right next to the front door. Dietary advice from someone that slack, is in itself a health risk but here goes. tonys hot tips. a vegie patch, and curly leaf kale is the king. Rest of the colours are queen. Vitamins should all be proportional to each other. They work in unison, helping each other absorb. Oxidation is the enemy of all foods and oils. Fresh is best. Light and heat degrades. Some veg surrender their nutrients to you more easily if slightly cooked.
To much of a vitamin can quickly become toxic. Chelated forms of vitamins are more readily absorbed.
Keep an eye on the thyroid if you have a lot of dark green veg.
OH boy. . . tea lady is here with the cake trolly..! Lol... Gotta go..

@Historylover The demise of GP Bulk Billing is due to Medicare cuts. GPs the do Bulk Bill have to see a patient every 7 minutes.
From 1 November current Federal Government is allocating more funds to Medicare for GPs who Bulk Bill. Metropolitan area will receive $20.65 per standard consultation, currently they receive $6.85.
”In very remote areas”, the Bulk Billing incentive for a standard consultation will increase to $39.65 from the current $13.15
