@TAB just made an apricot slice. Easy to whizz up in the food processor. Its kept me busy this afternoon. Assembles in minutes. No cooking.
@Historylover I bought that Brilliant White toner that you use to tint your hair. I spoke to one of their staff and they said they have never had complaints from the general public using it. I will do a patch test though. Should arrive in the mail next week. Bought off ebay. Will it enhance the grey, I don't know what to expect and can you put hair gel over it?

@Former-Member, for me, the only trouble with baking is that I have to eat it all myself!!
As for the Brilliant Silver white, it has the same effect as water on your hair. I haven't used gel for years and can't remember if it goes on dry or wet, but just treat your hair as normal. Don't go overboard; it's shocking to look in the mirror and find you've gone purple!
Are you still waiting for your iphone instructions, or have played on ahead?

Hmmm, @Former-Member. I'll have to try that fennel tea. I like star anise tea occasionally too, but I don't know if it's beneficial to health.

@Historylover I got my phone manual delivered. Its for an Android not an iphone ❤️ I spoke to the folks from Samsung in their chat window and they gave me the link to download. So sent it across to Officeworks and it got here yesterday. I intend to get onto it tomorrow.
Yes fennel tea is great for lowering blood glucose - it was a tip from my diabetes educator. I just use a coffee grinder to grind the seeds then put it in one of those tea strainers to steep it in my cup. I just buy a bottle of fennel seed most weeks from the herb section at Woolies. You can also buy it in bulk from Asian shops or Amazon. The brand I tried in bulk was Maharishi, it works out no cheaper.
I think I will follow the recommended number of drops for a grey haired person. I did see a rough guideline on their website. Is that what you did or did you put more drops? I take it you were born blonde? I hope it just gives me highlights and does not turn my hair purple like Dame Edna lol!!! Anyway we shall see. Does it stain skin and clothes? Sorry about asking all these questions

@Former-Member. I'm afraid I don't know the difference between an iphone and android. I thought they were the same. Mine's an android, anyway. Now I know it's not also an iphone.
How much fennel seed per cup? I'll try it tomorrow.
As for the toner, I followed the instructions the first time to gauge the effect.
It does stain hands, but I've never splashed it on clothes to see.
No, @Former-Member, my hair was dark brown—and I miss it!! It was nice, didn't frizz in damp weather, was about twice as thick and it shone. 😒

I do a teaspoon of fennel seed per cup @Historylover, its enough. Or just fill the tea strainer which is roughly the same amount.
Yes I understand about getting older and stuff to do with our hair. It does thin as you age. You can have more iron in your diet to stop hair fall. Its can also be thyroid related. Do you oil your hair with coconut oil? It can to tremendous things for reinstating the health of your hair. I'm a bit slack with oiling my hair. Used to do it all the time but haven't been doing it recently....
I could not afford an iphone so just stick with an android. I think I've got a good phone going by everything I've read.

Before I forget, @Former-Member, the toner has plastic gloves included, as I recall.
My hair has never recovered from recurrent alopecia in those earlier years after my family breakdown, when I was stressed beyond endurance. I must have become used to the stress over time. There was a veritable plague of alopecia at the time, especially with women. No, I don't oil my hair. I used to olive oil it some time ago, but I found it difficult to remove so I didn't persevere. It clearly needs some tender loving care these days. Living by myself takes away the inspiration for me. Perhaps oiling it would help to stop the frizz.

You'll be okay @Historylover now is the time for some TLC. I'm sorry about your family, my family of origin was the same. I am glad I did not marry or have children otherwise I would have been in a similar predicament however I have endured lots of stress from being vilified over the course of my life which seriously impacted my wellbeing. Just live for you, that is what I do after being let down by so many people. Give yourself some self nurture! To get oil out of your hair you apply the shampoo direct to oiled hair with no water and it will rinse off easily with no residue.
