That is very interesting @TAB I have checked it out and read all the reviews for the Epson one you suggested. I have written down the name and model.  There's all kinds of mixed responses from people in the reviews however if you don't mind me saying.  Its hard to know what to buy.

 

I saw a Brother all-in-one on Officeworks but it was more expensive (you get what you pay for) My old printer, I had a HP1400 which lasted 17 years. With HP now you need a HP account and to scan documents, you can't scan if the internet is down. So all these things to bear in mind.

 

What made you go Epson? The guy I spoke to today said he himself uses Brother. But he sounded a bit cagey as if Officeworks have had problems with printers in the past in general.  

 

I'm glad my old printer lasted this long its outdone 3 computers.

had canon b4 epsom software was a disaster... un usable ... do what u like
