Gee thats no good. My old HP that died has been really reliable going by all the negative reviews of others. Don't know which way I'll go with it. I appreciate you suggesting a cheaper option. With the Brother the customer service dude suggested the ink lasts a year but its expensive I found out and Officeworks has a licensing deal with inks as you can't buy the inks anywhere else but Officeworks. Which could be a problem @TAB

easy to use , cheap, cheap ink refills @Former-Member esp after having over complicated to point of not being functional one

I checked it out some more last night re: configurations and it has no USB @TAB. I do wired.

Yeah @StuF it had some of the best reviews on this all-in-one printer but only that restriction with cartridges. The cartridges however last a whole year so it works out economical. I wish I could bring back to life my old printer!!! Will be taking it to Officeworks to get dismantled with their circular economy program, so the parts can be melted down and reused
