Well @Former-Member
I've never really had Strong hopes. But I guess, basically, it would be nice to have a home of my own and a partner...and some kind of career (not really $ driven though. Something a bit challenging and rewarding. Maybe creative) so big fails there
But, given my physical and mental health challenges from an early age, it's amazing I'm almost 50! And I have a pretty good life, really. VERY fortunate to have the family and friends I have.
So how that translates into a percentage? Dunno! lol

I recently had a chat with a gp she said people have their issues and if you’re at about 70% life is going good. I have different issues to normal people, but that isn’t consuming anymore so I have to adapt and forget my self worth.
had another chat to a guy, very well spoken, his meet up name is something to do with communication. @TAB @StuF …. He practically convinced me to drop medication as he doesn’t believe in it and reckons psychs are just in it for the money. After talking to parents, family friends… I decided not to follow his advice. Goes to show some people are good at exploiting others for their own gain, or maybe he was on to something, but it was something too good to be true. Wry convincing guy, I mean very. We had like an hour discussion, @TAB @this is where dianetics comes in to play, I don’t know if Scientology is still around in aus, cause this guy was definitely head hunting for them lol. Had me feeling all kinds of emotions, whether I’m getting jibbed, I’ve seen else where it’s possible, but kept diving in deeper to conversation… be careful hey guys

Scientology is really anti-psychiatry @Former-Member I had a friend who was a former scientologist at entry OT levels. You get harrassed 30 years after you leave every single day of your life being phoned up by Scientology.
Also saw a lady who exited scientology on you tube and she said you got just as much content off Oprah but for free. Have seen all kinds of weird stuff going on with that cult. They try and get psych patients off drugs at retreats and people go totally insane in there and its all covered up because it easily backfires.
No accountability. I would not trust someone from Scientology when it comes to coming off meds. I presume he was going to be there for you if it all went belly up. Anyway psychiatry is a pet peeve of theirs and they no nothing about the disorders except to say come off meds.
@TAB Anyway I'm just cooking a cucumber soup as that was all that was in my crisper. Will toss in some loose lettuce. No food waste.

@Former-Member @I don’t want to be part of any cult, heck I don’t even want to go back to cricket next season… I felt that the people there are perfect with good memories and I just can’t compete with them, not saying my game was bad, I relived the childhood days when I was playing, but I feel I’m trying too hard to fit in… yeah Scientology is bad, maybe let my guard down a bit hoping for something too good to be true.
anyways got work tomorrow, still got Covid did another rat test… been about a week now.. I’m cutting down on the drinking which is good, but will be working from home.
my sister ate out at a nice restaurant which has me wanting to go there, but envious you can call it, but they spent $900 for a meal for two, just can’t fathom it. But they are doing well, have lots of friends, good work, are on top of pretty much anything life throws at them.
I just have to practice more self love, and appreciate what I have… I feel I meeed people’s acceptance before I can go and be great, which is a fine line to balance when MI is involved.
I hope you enjoy your cucumber soup, haven’t heard of it before, are you throwing some kind of meat in to it?
