I am getting used to the shorter work days. It is really helping me to get through the pain. By the time I leave, I am in pain but being able to have pain relief and lay down as soon as I get home is helping. I still cannot do anything but I am now able to get some sleep and make the most of the mornings at work (most days). Today was not a great one (pain wise) but I do have the most amazing kids and the teacher they have taking over from me is lovely ...she is now the kids favourite lol. I love that they are okay (I knew they would be as soon as I met this teacher) and that makes it easier for me to leave them and look after me.

It must be such a relief that your kids are happy with the new teacher. I'm not sure I like that she's their favourite now lol. Seriously, it's what you want, hey. The kids to love the new person, so you can wipe that off you 'things to worry about list'.

Glad to be home early today @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @hanami An afternoon of lying down was very much needed. I managed to do some washing but hanging it out took a couple of goes. On the positive side, it is warm here today so it should be dry quickly. I am going to try to do a little bit of work this evening and hopefully some grocery shopping tomorrow - will wait and see how I feel.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie Today was not a good day. I could not wait to get home to get some relief. I stupidly did not have any pain relief this morning and paid for it - lesson learnt - will not be doing that again. 

A trip to the vet this afternoon to check Toby's ears, chest and teeth. All good now except one ear - but he has had another treatment for that and that should get on top of it.

Have been sick @Zoe7,  and  away for a few days with my girls.  On the mend now, but it has put another dent in my studies, creating a race against time.

So sorry to hear it has bern a tough day for you.  Hopefully you have some self-care organised for tonight Hon 💕

Oh no @Faith-and-Hope 😢 I am glad you are on the mend and have had some time away with your girls though. You will get your studies sorted (I have no doubt on that) but also be kind to yourself inbetween. Love ya Hon ❤️
