Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 I feel a bit detached. I’m very exhausted, it’s been a warm day in Melbourne. I’m just relaxing right now with a hydrating face mask.

Have you both been up to much today @Gremlin24 @TAB

Re: Best Friends Club

@creative_writer the exhaustion is hitting hard for me too. The heat takes so much out of me. I hope you enjoy your relaxing face mask.

I haven't been up to much, mostly just colouring and watching my TV shows. My peace was disturbed earlier so I left my house to go for a walk along the creek under the shade of the trees. I had an iced coffee before now I'm back to my colouring.

Re: Best Friends Club

mask sounds nice @creative_writer  i felt off most of day , just coming good now after naps ,pain meds .

in last couple hours I got call from RSL out of the blue, did some quick research on DVA webpages for them

just found something DES worker may be interested in, so emailed them,(after hours already, but yeah)  ..wrote list of thing for Drs monday . ha ha got ph appt for medication review I guess, had bad blood results looks like, then double appt in another town w same dr  to do medical form for cenno . it was suggested by DES and is part of process of getting onto DSP. I last saw this dr in September and they seemed frustrated with me. have seen dift dr every visit since then. ok I had agreed to do things and didnt follow through, and they couldnt hide their feelings. Never seems to be an issue when they forget stuff or dont follow through though. so in my mind I have made it into something more than it was I guess. We will see how they act on monday. Only reason asked to see them was that they were the one dr I had seen most over the last 2 years .

Anyway, sorry for going on. Hope there was something good about your day

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 sometimes the mind shut down emotions to protect itself. I’ve also been very migrainey and lightheaded lately, I had a blood test done today to rule out a medical reason.

Re: Best Friends Club

@avant-garde how are you going? Thinking of you ❤️

Re: Best Friends Club

@creative_writer totally get you. Do hope you are feeling better soon, take it easy ❤️

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 probably cptsd doing its thing. Not feeling physically well doesn’t help. It’s certainly been a hot summer.

The hydrating mask did feel soothing, my skin was dry after I took a shower and exfoliated my face.

Sorry to hear your peace was disturbed. Colouring and TV sound relaxing.

@TAB it sounds like you haven’t been physically well either. It’s hard having to chase doctors, I feel like the system has so many flaws. Finding a good doctor is hard too. I haven’t ever applied for DSP but I heard it is a tedious process. I hope you are able to get the process sorted out soon and things get easier

Re: Best Friends Club

@creative_writer it has definitely been a hot summer, I'll be glad to see some cooler weather.

Glad the mask was soothing.

Hope you have a restful night ❤️

Re: Best Friends Club

I would like to no I did what I could re DVA, not bothered if dont get anything else, just would bother me if I could have

well have finally clocked up 2 years with DES job provider, as unbeknowst to me , going on sick certs re sets the 2 years to zero everytime. anyway, could be wrong , but my understanding is the after 2 years of not getting a job, that puts me into a different category for DSP , ie 20pts total , not 20pts in the one specific area of disablity.

So who knows @creative_writer  would be extra $300 a fortnight. they gave me a pension healthcare card like 7 years ago now, but had to stay on jobseeker. think if they even lower my work capacity by 2 hours a week would get like extra $100/fortnight I am on 15hours. DSP is 8 hours. A couple years ago they brought in an interim payment increase for under 14 hours

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 I can’t wait for the cooler weather, but it does look like it won’t be much longer. I hope you have a restful night too 💖. I just had dinner and watched some
tv

@TAB the system can be messy. I just graduated and I’m on Job. seeker, but I am afraid I won’t be able to work 5 days a week. My capacity isn’t there right now, I know things can change, I haven’t said anything to Centrelink right now, it’s not like I’ve gotten a job offer yet. The jumping through hoops for DSP seems too overwhelming. I just hope I’ll wake up and my mental and physical health are better
