@Gremlin24 aw ok that does make it difficult. Do you exercise much because another option is doing a workout prior to going to sleep as the energy levels are reduced and the brain is emitting the good vibes from the exercise which can help you sleep.
Medication for sleep doesn't always work I have found, there are times I wake up after taking the medication and I can't get back to sleep! I know that the milk and tea help me because I was brought up on those as a kid with my grandmother.
A good friend of mine suggested the workout because it can have a dual effect and can help calm the mind as well.

@Arbie_wun i exercise during the day but i couldn't exercise right before bed. I don't think anything is going to make me sleep unfortunately, I think there's something else going on.

@Gremlin24 maybe you need to have a sleep test done as it could be a medical reason behind it and the panic attacks are a response to the medical issue in a physical way.

@Arbie_wun that's what I'm thinking. Unfortunately it's not an option though at the moment so for now I just have to suck it up and deal with it.

@Gremlin24 .. well hopefully you get it sorted as a good sleep is important for your mental health too. It allows your body to regenerate itself and provides the necessary chemicals to help us feel better.

@Arbie_wun i hope i can, I know how important sleep is even more so for me as i have epilepsy and a lack of sleep and stress result in seizures.
Right now I feel like I'm barely hanging on by a thread.

@Gremlin24 a good friend of mine also has epilepsy and she had a really bad time a couple months back (was so bad she couldn't go out in public because she was prone to seizures at random if she exerted herself to much). Her condition was that bad that even a short walk at the supermarket was enough to almost induce a seizure, thankfully her partner and the kids were on hand to assist her as much as possible.
He had to not work for a couple months until she got right again, now he is able to work and help provide for the family. While she was unwell it was a constant struggle due to a lack of steady income. I do hope you get it all sorted soon my friend, thinking of you and hope you can fix things to get better!

@Arbie_wun it's a horrible thing to live with. I'm sorry your friend went through such a hard time but I'm glad she had the support from her partner and kids.
Thankyou. I'm just trying to rest as much a possible but at the same time trying to do enough that I'm tired enough for bed time.
