@Gremlin24 @I’ll have to look up how to do any of those things you’ve mentioned for the potatoes. 🙂 thank you for the suggestions! 👍👍👍
Oooo pasta bakes?? Sounds interesting!!
Unfortunately we don’t have an oven in our student accomodation rooms but there is an oven at the communal kitchen down within there that we’d have to use for baking 🥲🥲

@Blackcloud hope you can find something to do with them.
Pasta bakes can be done with chicken or tuna aswell as other things, then you top it off with cheese and put it in the oven to bake for a bit. They are very yummy 😋.
I'm gonna head off for a bit, things are just getting a bit intense for me right now so I'm going to try to calm myself down.
Enjoy your day 🙂

@Gremlin24 @ah I see! Some great alternatives there! Thank you for that ❤️
All good, take your time and hope you’ll get a good rest or do anything to calm yourself down for a bit. 🙂

Hi @Gremlin24
I lived on potatoes when I was young…..lol…..Can you and @Blackcloud
get herbs?
My son, my oldest son picked my husband and I up from the airport…..I wanted to show off so I was wearing my new doctor martens…….bad idea to wear when you’re fat and unexercised…….lol…..stiff for the first three days we are there…..
we got to his place where he whips up this gourmet spaghetti meal…….most of their youth was spaghetti……that’s all I could afford and he puts all these fresh herbs in it….
it was amazing……
Can you pop it on mashed potatoes?
he chops all these finely chopped up herbs on the meals…….
Was he showing me up ? I don’t think so, just a little triggered……

Hi @Blackcloud , I know your post was way back, but I just wanted to say thanks for the update. I'm glad you have been feeling better. Hope you are able to continue some of these strategies.

Thanks for the update @Appleblossom , I've missed you. I'm sorry to hear your son was in hospital. I hope things improve for you and your family.
I'm here if you need an ear.

@Gremlin24 so sorry to hear you are having issues with your sleep my friend. Have you tried the warm milk trick? You need to warm it slowly on the stove (microwaved doesn't work for some reason). There's natural chemicals in the warm milk that help you sleep. Plus, there is a belief that the warm milk simulates our mother's milk which as babies also put us to sleep!
There are also herbal teas for relaxation and sleep help that could also be of a benefit to you, my friend. Another option is a sleep mask, a friend of mine who had some issues with sleep now wears one and swears by it. You can even get Bluetooth versions that you can listen to meditation sounds like crashing waves or rain through. Then again you could try all of these as well!

@Arbie_wun thanks for all the suggestions. I can't drink warm milk, it's just icky 😂.
I can't do herbal tea's as they just don't agree with me. I've tried listening to relaxing music but I just can't sleep with any noise really. Rain/wave sounds have to actually be the real thing otherwise it just annoys me 😂.
I just can't sleep no matter what I try, even medication isn't helping. I never used to have this much trouble sleeping. It's the constant waking up having a full on panic attack multiple times a night that I could really do without. But oh well, running on 2-3 hours sleep it is.
