Hi @Gremlin24 @that’s fair enough about needing to rest. Oh no you should really get some sleep at night 😞 but I understand, I also find it hard to fall asleep myself when it’s nighttime and I usually find that it’s easier for me to fall asleep during the day than during the night for some reason. 🤔
Also I’m not really sure what I plan on doing today, and since it is a public holiday as well as tomorrow, I guess it looks like staying at home all day would be the way to do it 😅 or maybe I might head out for a walk today a bit later? Since right now the weather seems to be ok and not too sunny right now so that’s great.
But tomorrow the weathers gonna be even worse since it’s gonna be 40 degrees tomorrow 😑 but also thank god that tomorrow is gonna be a public holiday as well cause I can’t imagine people being outside during this kind of temperature 😮

@Blackcloud sleep is impossible when you can't sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time before waking up having a full on panic attack. But oh well, it is what it is.
A walk could be nice, just being out in the fresh air with nature can be so relaxing. The weather isn't too bad today but yes tomorrow is definitely going to be alot warmer.
Chilling under the aircon seems like the way to go tomorrow 😊

@Gremlin24 @Yeah, like for me I tend to have some racing thoughts, daydreaming and overthink things at night which usually is what leads me to take long to fall asleep from my supposed sleeping time 😕
im outside in the park now and it feels nice to be out here when the UV rays isn’t high at the moment. Just had a walk and now just sitting on the bench in the park just chilling and watching people rowing. 🚣
aaaa as much as I’d like to order something for tomorrow through the uber eats app (like a green tea flavoured yoghurt with some customised toppings I want from Yo-Art), but considering how much I’ve spent on some treatments this week I won’t be able to until I get my next pay check from Centrelink the following Tuesday 🥲 good thing is I have an alternative at home (like matcha powder that I use to make my matcha & some ice) that I can use and make for myself instead if I cant order/purchase that yoghurt.

@Blackcloud yes the racing thoughts are a challenge for me. Even when I'm completely exhausted my brain just doesn't switch off.
Row row row your boat gently down the stream. Sorry couldn't help myself 😂. But that would be nice just chilling and watching them 😊.
I know that pain of having to wait until payday but I've never ordered anything on uber eats. At least you have an alternative though, that's better than nothing.

@Gremlin24 @Haha the row row row your boat song was so accurate!! cracked me up XD
oh yeaaa unlike me I still struggle to do meal prepping myself and so whenever I need to eat something that involves some protein (like tofu, tuna etc.) in it then I usually go to uber eats to order a meal on there, or in some cases like I mentioned earlier, that yoghurt for when the weather gets hot. I do want to keep working on and start improving on my meal prepping skills by the time I get to do meal prepping with both my OT and my support worker respectively as time passes. :3 for now I can only know how to fry an egg as well as making a hummus dip.
You do meal prepping for your own meals right? 😅

@Blackcloud i randomly break out into song when i hear part of a lyric from a song. I'm just a bit special 😂.
I don't eat any take away food so I do all my own meals, at least when I feel like eating 😂.
I don't meal prep though I just wing it and make whatever I want from day to day. But I can't eat the same thing every day, I don't do reheated meals.
I'm sure you will get there 🙂

@Gremlin24 @Haha I get it and I too tend to do that as well sometimes 😂
that’s great to know you actually always make your own meals and I hope that I can eventually get there by the time I get to be able to do that more. I just really hate how small the kitchen (especially the kitchen table) is in my room since I live in a student accomodation, which makes it hard for me to have room for anything other than just the dish tray along with the washed dishes and it makes me angry 😂😂 and yes it’s good to make different meals on a day to day basis as it’s better than sticking onto the same thing regularly even if it’s just within a few days in a row

@Blackcloud glad I'm not the only one 😂.
Working with a small area would be challenging but it can be done, you will get there. My kitchen bench isn't huge and it gets cluttered easily and it drives be nuts 😂. I taught myself everything I know, I'm no chef but I can make alot of things. Stirfys, soups, roasts, different salads, burgers, pastas, the list goes on.
Last night I got munchy and had a ham and salad wrap, nothing fancy but it was yummy 😋.

@Gremlin24 @Yeah I guess I just need to be less stressed about the kitchen stuff. Oh I have made pasta for myself before, the last time I made it was only a few months ago. Now you just remind me that I did also make pasta for myself haha! 😛
oooh sounds delicious!!
by the way I got myself these packet of potatoes from the fridge that was located near the pantry when I was volunteering at foodbank the other day (they have a pantry section there where us volunteers can come and get some food there that’s available for free for us to get and take home with 🙂 ) I did collect some other free food there too the other day :3
I was wondering if you have any ideas of what I should do with these potatoes? 🤔

@Blackcloud pasta meals are good to make and you can do pasta bakes aswell which are yummy.
Potatoes are so versatile. You could do mash, potato bake, roast, make chips, boiled potatoes.
