Re: Best Friends Club
@Glisten hell doesn't even begin to describe it.
I can't even lose focus for a second cos that's all it takes for me to lose control. I'm exhausted but I'm unable to rest.
I just want this to end already.

Re: Best Friends Club
@Shaz51 my Shazzy, I had a good day. It was a horsey people day. Six of us hanging out doing horsey things.
Enjoying the difference between English and Western riding.
I got none of the things done that are pushing a Tuesday deadline. But that’s what 4am is for, right? 😁

Re: Best Friends Club
@Glisten at the moment it's just constant. I have no idea when it will ease, if at all. I doze off for a few minutes only to wake up struggling to breathe cos my body is in such a state of panic. It's been like this for about 5 hours now.

Grems @Former-Member I don’t know what to say. You’re in a safe place atm? Are there people to help you get through this?

Re: Best Friends Club
@Glisten define a safe place, i never really feel safe anymore no matter where I am. No I don't have anyone to help me through this other than here in the forum. I see my doctor tomorrow and I'm really just focused on trying to make it to that appointment which feels so far away right now. But even then I know it's not going to change anything.

Re: Best Friends Club
Grems @Former-Member you are proof that we are in a constant state of feeling. We feel ALL the time.
My daughter said she felt emotional. I responded we are always emotional. We are a cluster of nerve endings.
A big powerful horse can kick down a door 🚪 Yet a fly 🪰 lands on the horse’s back and makes the horse’s entire coat quiver.
This is Mac and Lenny.
Mac on the left, won’t drink out of his water trough if I move it.
Lenny on the right, will counter act my body weight if I lose a stirrup.
This is Dougie
Dougie is a retired race horse 🏇 Won quarter of million dollars. This horse will run at me full throttle and STOP ✋🏼 at my hand.
You’re coming with me today and we are going to groom these horses.
