Ha ha 🤣 @TAB we will have to wait and see won't we.
But I am definitely not overly confident in my Swans. And I really don't think the week off is beneficial. In fact I think it sometimes goes against the resting teams. Anyway, I hope it's a great game, with the Swans scraping home in another thriller.
I'm wondering if @StuF may be going to the prelim final at the SCG next week?

Good evening @TAB @Emelia8 @StuF @Zoe7 @tyme @Shaz51 @ENKELI and all sports lovers here! Time to do a quick recap of the AFL and NRL finals results.
@Emelia8 Thank you very much for correcting my sports results with tennis players and ground locations. I was a little out of it earlier tonight when I wrote the post so I apologise for my mistakes.
@TAB Thanks for the nice compliment about my sports posts. I’m not perfect and I do make mistakes but I do enjoy sport and like to contribute to this discussion thread.
Here are the results of the 2 matches tonight:
Unfortunately for Hawthorn fans, they lost by 3 points to a very different Port Adelaide team. They now means they are over for the season with Port now going to Sydney to play the Sydney Swans on Friday night at the SCG. I’m cheering on Sydney as I don’t want potentially relive 2004 when Port played Brisbane in the Grand Final which the Lions lost. I was in Launceston at the time at uni and I didn’t enjoy that Saturday afternoon at all. I hope this win by Port makes you feel a little better @TAB . May the best team win next Friday night!
As for the NRL, Penrith Panthers win over the Sydney Roosters which I thought could happen as I saw they were up 24-0 at half time. I didn’t watch the match - I was watching the AFL- so I don’t know what happened but I’m curious to know how much time Nathan Cleary played as I knew he had a shoulder injury and was expected to play but not at what capacity. At least he and the Panthers have a week off next week to get rested and play again in 2 weeks time. Now I’m hoping Melbourne Storm can win over the Sharks tomorrow afternoon and also go through week 3 of the finals.
Good luck for the rest of the weekend with your sports teams and players!
Take care!

Yes that's right @TAB
Well actually, not quite right.
Tomorrow's match between GWS and Brisbane will knock out another team to leave us with 4 remaining.
Ie Swans, Cats, Port, GWS/Bris.
The winners of the two prelim finals next week are our grand finalists.
