Re: 365 Project

i would have loved to own a R34 V-spec, they are such nice cars, i went for a run in a Subaru WRX sti-spec once, i have never felt so scared in all my life, i used to be into all Japanese cars, always wanted to do one up, i suppose i still do, but i will never have they money for it, i will just look and admire from afar.

wow have you planted those seedlings, they look healthy, hope you manage a nice garden with them.

Re: 365 Project

Awesome. Yeah v specs look nasty , I like rexes too.unfortunately I'm in the same predicament as you concerning cash flow atm haha. Yeah might give them seedlings another few weeks to strengthen up before planting proper I reckon .

Re: 365 Project

@Jacques wwow those little seedlings are coming along great! You have inspired me to have another go with seeds, I have a terrible track record with them though.

I haven't checked the local newsagent for colouring books, that's a good idea. I've been ordering mine from book depository, which is fun too because then you get fun packages in the mail.

Re: 365 Project

Today I am grateful for the thread and memories.

Oh dear naughty boys and fast cars tut tut.  But go the seed trays. I have only been in a porsche cos I helped the lady owner do her math homework at uni.

But pillioned on a yammie 1100 at 160 kmph on the good smooth bit of canberra highway.... ouch that was 35 years ago.  But at least I have got memories.

Think about all those emissions .... oh dear ... Mostly I like to go slower these days thank you..

Re: 365 Project

Ridin on the back of anything is ten times scarier than ridin the thing , but an 11 hundy look out haha

Re: 365 Project

My first pillion ride was on a Kwaka 650 ... he came back and bragged to his girlfriend about scraping the foot pegs .. I had just hung on for dear life.

A pommie with Yam 750 taught me to ride in a car park and do basic mechanics .. change the head and stuff.

Mostly though, I went solo or carried a pillion rather than be the standard girl on the back if you know what i mean.

I always say the back of that yammie 1100 was like a lounge chair .. mind you I did not grow up with lounges and just perched on a few other people's like a bike ...  didnt have a lounge til years after I had given up riding motor bikes.

I am disabled now ... still I love the memory and pretending I was wild and free .....

I embarrass my son by talking about being nanna on a motor bike .. but its not for me any more.
