Re: Good Morning!

Pain clinics seem to be opening everywhere now @TAB. I do know a bit about opioids as I had a friend years ago with fibromyalgia.  Theres a bit of an opioid painkiller epidemic globally and governments until recent date have been struggling with this problem.  Anyway a day out is good - you can take in sights and sounds and enjoy your journey! Have a good day TAB

Re: Good Morning!

ha yeah, if it was10 years ago or earlier  @ Tab, may have gone to pub in city on way home lol, not these days all a bit too scary, will be looking to get home as soon as can lol @StuF

Re: Good Morning!

yeah I'm not sure what the thinking is, guess they think they are more specialised @SmilingGecko  their solutions end up being the same.. just takes the heat off GP to be able to prescribe stronger meds and not worry that they are coming under the spotlight seems.

Re: Good Morning!

Going ok here thanks @Former-Member

Really should do something with my day...!

Re: Good Morning!

yeah, should be okay @Former-Member  I've got really stuck here, and going on public transport and going to outside if local area was on my to-do list after I realised I was perhaps avoiding it

Re: Good Morning!

@SmilingGecko I also have a good friend with fibro and we have big conversations about pain medication/ management. She has built up a tolerance to meds and they now do nothing for her so is trying to get onto a newer one.

We have conversations about pain meds in my family also as my youngest child at only 18 needs a major operation due to a missed diagnosis when she was a baby. While she's waiting for the surgery she is often in pain and manages it with medication. It's not doing much to help but at 18 she doesn't want stronger meds if she can avoid. But also doesn't want to be in pain. It's an interesting subject!

Re: Good Morning!

Yeah pain management is a multibillion dollar industry @TAB and yes they have no solutions ~ just stronger painkillers that render someone even more shellshocked and a bunch of allied health professionals that want your money.  My friend used to struggle on the heavy duty pain meds they dished out to her. She was a very brave woman.  People dont understand. I have seen some alternate cures like Astral Sounds which is a recording that simulates euphoria in the brain I know John Lennon & Yoko Ono used to use it going by testimony. I've tried it and the euphoria creates chemicals that dampen pain.  I know it was used in pain clinics across the USA in the 1970's

Tabs and SG
Always good company:)

@SmilingGecko @TAB

Re: Good Morning!

Same here sg @SmilingGecko

Had some coffee when I woke up and got some sunlight. Sure was good. Thawed me out lol.

Then went and read and had something to eat. Just juiced up some orange and will now try to finish my book. So close. It's annoying me tbh. Just want it done with actually.
