Oh my @tonys You put your heart & soul into this one. It is beautiful. It's the most beautiful poem I have been gifted. I felt stunned after reading it. Its for me...? How can I reply? ... Lost for words.. Did it ring?..so ... loud. I'm humbled that you would share this with me - to me...I could go on & on with my sappy feelings. Your poem got me. Why would you do this for me? You know what I think I loved most? I think it was that you knew I would understand it - even the parts I don't❤️
My beautiful friend x

@maddison Hello maddison. I'm so pleased i got that big, pink airship to float, and that it made it to your door, .... and that you felt the words moving inside you..
You once said to me that you like to print letters that you enjoy and keep them. I just liked the idea that some of my moon rocks are nestled in your drawer for safe keeping..
That they are received and thoughtfully read, ... well,.... .. . you are worthy off effort my friend.
I saw you in your little kitchen floating on a high. Dancing, badly drawn boy, defying gravity,..
and a moment flowed over me.
I was so worried i would "time out" and loose it, i sent it with out reading, so can you please do me a solid. Take the s of lands , and stick it on lives. It rhymes a tad better then. How cheeky am i, asking you to do my home work.
I do hope you are still aloft in the clouds on your magic carpet, cloud mist in you're hair

@wordman @BobP @hanami Thankyou for you're most gracious words, wordman. Way to generous i feel, ... .. . but i'll lick the compliment bowl clean anyway. cheers.
I do have to say though, there are some very , very , wise owls in this forum.
Their words are few , but so well anchored.
I'm just glad they give me a little latitude to express, and release ... .. . even when I'm out of order.
@BobP , welcome if you are new. If wordman has his hand on your shoulder, then you are in more experienced hands than mine. I stumbled into this thread accidently, am new myself, and a beginer on the computor. I struggle to know what the knobs and dials do so, converting Latin into English, .... .. . well that just Latin to me.. Last time i tried something that complex on my , 'el cheapo laptop' , I went backwards in time by 3 months !. I'm sure your message was clever and I'm sorry it was wasted on me.
I hope you enjoy this resource, and am sure you'll find a wealth of support and experience and ideas here. Yours with the very best intentions. Tonys moon base one..

Cheers everyone,
One day in Contract Law class, Professor Jepson asked one of his better students, "Now if you were to give someone an orange, how would you go about it?"
The student replied, "Here's an orange."
The professor was livid. "No! No! Think like a lawyer!" The student then recited, "Okay, I'd tell him, 'I hereby give and convey to you all and singular, my estate and interests, rights, claim, title, calim and advantages of and in, said orange, together with all its rind, juice, pulp, and seeds, and all rights and advantages with full power to bite, cut, freeze and otherwise eat, the same, or give the same away with and without the pulp, juice, rind and seeds, anything herein before or hereinafter or in any deed, or deeds, instruments of whatever nature or kind whatsoever to the contrary in anywise notwithstanding..."

Hi @tonys things are lofty & cloudy here, I hope today is for you. Your poem was so clever - I knew you were smart... I was surprised.
Thanks for clearing up the s - I did wonder about lives.. And then I decided it was imperfectly perfect. No homework needed.
Yesterday was an unusual day for me. There were occurrences that were totally new...& moments that were not new, but I had not endulged in since I was a child. It was one of those days that little magical things happen....I was reading on another thread yesterday how a member described an occurrence where someone drove past her and shouted hello. It was a stranger.
Well, that was kind of the day I was having yesterday.
Soooo, reading your letter yesterday afternoon was so apt & equally unexpected.
I talk lots.. Don't I?!😊
Yep, the pink air ship made it safely to it's destination. I wonder about the big hands of the author, as he looks into the distance to find his next word & then crashes those hands down so gently on the keyboard. Good you saw me dance.
💐4 U.

@BobP Hello bob. How yours day been mate. Oranges hey. I used to like oranges but now i feel like they are all eyeballing me from the fruit bowl.
I don't think i'll ever turn my back on an orange again , ..... .. . or a lawyer.
How else do i reply to that. I have some very strange wiring under my bonnet,..... ... but i'm kind of intrigued what at what you will produce next, I Feel like I'm back in the bush again.
Do i grab this one by the head or the tail ?.
If works for you and helps you through the day, put it out there..... .. . I'll read it.
Stay frosty bobP... your mate tonys .... .. .. . moonbase one. . . or so i thought....! ???

Please , please... tidy it up a bit. @maddison . I want it have your prints on it too. Ahhh , a bunch of flowers. You know me well. Even on my worst day, they kiss me on the cheek and whisper, ... .. It'll be alright. I also have a huge soft spot for figure skating. Boxes of old video., They make me forget about life's sharp edges for a spell.
You know i see you dancing don't you... Every time the train goes past , thats me watching you ebb and flow to the to the rhythm.
I dance too mate. ... every time i forget to check my boots before putting them on, attempt my own electrical repairs,.. or forget about the paper wasp nest near the chook house door, ..... pretty much a daily occurrence. ! Oh, and i can do the....... moonwalk.
Sounds like you are really changing lanes , I knew there was magic in that hair colour bottle.
Good on you, my very dear friend..... good on you !
And no,.... .. You don't talk too much. you could talk all day and i would just close my eyes, listen and smile, like spring rain on the old tin roof.
Shopping tomorrow, I have to find something for the book keeper and the back packers , and its gotta be something extra special this year. They've done such a good job without me , i may actually get the sack from my own farm when i get back,
One of those days when i could feel looks and stares all day long... You would think some one would have stopped and told me my old flano shirt was inside out. My friend, its way past my bed time so i'll tuck you in and slip back into the land of shadows... tonys moonbase one.

@tonys , my friend, you are such a wordsmith, a writer of note - but I'm astounded as the next words will be. But what is it that you right, I'm not sure. Tell me about your mythical
Moon Base One :-); I know about Mars, a harsh and unforgiving place, except for poets and philosophers. And Venus, a Love charm, reconstructed form as wenos- ('Desire'). Old Indic vánas 'desire'.
Very Best

The Museum of Contemporary Art described the way that the arts help people deal with different stages of a crisis:
In times of crisis – bushfires, pandemics – the arts have the capacity to give people ways of coping and imagining a future beyond the crisis. At the end of this current crisis, the world will be very different. Connection and relationships will be paramount to building and sustaining a community. The arts will be more important than ever – to assist with the aftermath in terms of mental health, to encourage confidence, to give people hope, and encourage them to engage again in wider society.
I love this treasure
