Ute expenses can't be claimed for tax unless its involved for the purposes for gaining income. If you drive to work with ute its not deductible but if you drive from client to client using ute as part of business its claimable as a deduction @TAB
I have been doing some tidying like @Oaktree has I emptied the doors of my fridge and had stuff that needed to be tossed out so more room in there. Will get fridge storage containers from Big W.
Just put my crystal collection in salt water to cleanse them and will put them outside during the new moon eclipse on Thursday night.

I don't understand what you mean, for a vehicle you have to demonstrate that you are using it in the process of generating an income for the purposes of deduction. There are extensive tax law precedents that show a decisive link between money earned and use of a vehicle
There aren't many legal tax loopholes for the average member of the general public, taxation is mainly designed around big business and trusts @TAB
I would discuss it with your accountant or tax agent

I hope your brother is co-operative @TAB
I never heard of that before. So long as the taxman doesn't come after you. My brother did income splitting under the advice of his accountant. I could have told him it was illegal but he did not know. He went by what the accountant told him. Tax rulings change every day and its been 30 years since I had my nose in a CCH tax manual.
Just be careful.
