@Sunnyside226 well I'm definitely your friend on here and I really do love our chats. I love that we can talk about random things and have a laugh, and the fact that we both like stitch is an added bonus.
I don't believe you have done anything wrong but I do understand the feeling. I know some of the peer support workers have taken some time off recently and it can be hard to know who is even around at times. I've also noticed that if I'm having conversations with other people the peer support workers will slow down with the chatting cos the idea is that we engage in that peer-to-peer support which is why these forums exist.
You definitely do belong here just as much as anyone and you aren't wasting funding or space. You are so worthy of getting support and having that connection with others here.
I can't tell you to stay here if that's not what you want but what I can say is that if you leave you will be missed by so many people including myself.
I truly value your friendship on here and I'm so glad that I've had the chance to connect with you ♥️

It's hard when peer workers check in with others have conversations while they don't reply to me for weeks on end
Isn't the point of peer workers is to chat and help with things? Like if it's a peer _peer forum why is there peer workers? Wouldn't it just be mods like the night ones? Sorry I hope that made sense
I know rav3n checks in has conversations includes us etc laughs jokes about can be serious at times
But it does feel like I've done something not liked anymore
Why does life hurt why do I feel like everything is going bad I'm starting to hate myself even more now
If you go to sleep or fell asleep you don't hear back from me tomorrow I hope you know how much you meant to me being there listening to me helping me sharing Casper with me your a amazing woman/man/person I hope you know that @Dreamy thanks for being my friend

@Sunnyside226 i understand it can be hard when you see them check in and have conversations with others.
What your saying makes sense and i hope this part makes sense to you. It's absolutely the idea of having the peer support workers to chat and help when it's needed but they also encourage that peer-to-peer connection rather than just relying on solely communicating with them, i know cos even I've been caught out with this myself. While they are there to offer support and will usually respond if you tag them they focus on getting the community to support each other.
Life is hard at times and it hurts there's no denying that, the self hatred is hard to sit with but when things are hard that's when we need to show ourselves kindness and compassion (self care) the most. Which i know doesn't come easily and its something I still struggle with. But even doing the little things you enjoy doing is self care, whether it be colouring or going to the gym etc.
Thankyou for the kind words and please know that I'm here for you and I'll continue to be here for you for as long as you like ♥️

@Dreamy life just hurts so much it really does. The one person I needed isn't here
This part isn't to upset anyone but when people say talk to a peer support they have lived experiences in things like depression anxiety etc of course people are going to went to talk to them they might know more about different things how to cope with thoughts or whatever I know it wouldn't happen but maybe not having the peer support worker thing on their name should be changed to mod because it's the same thing they watch conversations delete / edit posts sometimes jumping in people might not be has confused to what peer workers can do that's just me Rambling on
Anyway Im sure your tried hope you can sleep thanks for the times we had incase I don't come back on here @Dreamy please give Casper a pat for me whenever 🙂

Morning @Sunnyside226. I know life hurts so much and the one person you needed isn't here and I'm sorry it's like this.
I understand and the peer support workers are definitely there to help when it comes to talking about life experiences and help find coping strategies and ways to manage things. It's also about chatting to others that have and are still going through things aswell on that peer-to-peer level. I completely understand your frustrations and I'm hoping that when the peer support workers are able to they can offer a bit more than what I can.
I crashed it last night after that last message. I hope you were able to get some sleep. Casper gets lots of pats and I'll be sure to give him some from you aswell.
I hope to chat to you whenever you are around, take care of yourself and know that we are here for you ♥️

Hey @Sunnyside226 I just wanted to check in and let you know that I hear you and understand wanting to have more clarity around the peer support worker/mod roles. It can be difficult to manage both of these parts of the job, and as you've said most other places don't blend these roles like we do.
Having us all listed as mods is an interesting idea and I understand your thinking behind it. You know what's interesting is that our official roles are community builders...maybe that could be what we have listed. I don't have the answers but I think that it's good to be able to get these thoughts from members like you so we can be aware
