Hi @Fancy_Pants,

Just got back from a longish walk on the beach. Low tide, as I like it. Warm day, dogs, kids, people lapping up the rays and waves, seagulls, tiny fish, and low flying jets. Got myself wet up to the abdomen in my regular walking clothes when I stranded myself on a shrinking sand bank on the way back. It looked like a good way to walk when I started, lol. That was the most fun bit. Made me laugh.

Hope Sunday is treating everyone else great, good or at least okay. 🙂

My Sunday consisted of: visit to nursing home to see MIL.  First visit since she was in hospital last week. It was sad, we went into her room and she is losing it more and more with her dementia.  She looks frail.  We left after about 45 minutes and I started crying in the car. I asked my husband if he was okay and he was, he knows she is in good care there; but i cried because I felt sorry for her and all the old people in there.

We then went shopping for some clothes for a wedding next week. Then stopped for an ice cream and ate that at the beach.  Now we are home and it's different, quiet and a bit sad still without MIL.

Tonight my husband and I are going out for dinner with some friends. Not really sure if i am in a 'social' mood.

Lazy Sunday here, no energy to get out & about. Was going to see my mother later but she called & cancelled so just going to lay around for a while.

Hi Everyone!

@Fancy_Pants Show went well yesterday.

Had a few problems initailly that got me upset, but I was more upset for my Killi than anything else. Poor girl didn't like the trailer trip, and kept sticking her back leg out of the trailer, so by the time we got there her leg was very sore and swollen. Then she threw herself over the tie-up rails. I was trying to hold it together, but I felt so bad that I'd done this to her.

But the whole time she followed me and was so well behaved, which was amazing given that it was her first time.

And she got first in her class!!!

i love your vivid discription @Mazarita what a beautiful image, i found myself actually laughing out loud when I read it, ive done that before too...:)

you have a really big heart @BlueBay i can understand you not being in a social mood after that, but when safety is concerned such as it can be with Dementia then sometimes the ideal answer is not possible. I hope that you went out anyway, because sometimes I find that it doesnt matter if the horse (motivation) pulls the cart (behaviour) or if you have to make the cart pull the horse.... our behaviour can have an influence on altering how we feel..

Hi @Fancy_Pants,

Week was horrible, but i am having a really good weekend, so i am going with it 🙂 the sun is shining and the farm animals are happy, listening to chickens and sheep at the moment. 

OMG I love seeing the pictures of the Melbourne International Flower Show, so many beautiful creations, would like to see some pics if anyone takes some 🙂
