@Crazy_Bug_Lady I have heard that a few people keep both psychologist and Psychiatrist on board. It would be hard to keep track of both. In my younger years I saw a psychiatrist as overwhelmed by family history but not prescribed meds. Later on I started seeing psychologists as I wanted to focus on life issues rather than sickness .. as a more positive approach for the children.
Glad that you are feeling a bit more in control of your decisions and your life.
Sometimes it has taken a while and then I realise that I havent needed to see any one for a year or 2
You put in heaps of work. Its a bonus when we hear from you.
cheers Apple

Its been a busy weekend with lots of appointments yesterday and lots to do today. Just taking a lunch break before heading into work to get things ready for the week ahead.
We did go to the lake this morning, kids had a play on the play ground, then fed the ducks and climbed on a big fallen over tree which was nice. My house is a mess though and not sure when i'm going to get that tidied (my usual sunday job!) but it was good to get out for a few hours with the kids before food shopping!
oh well, theres always tongiht i suppose...

hope it goes well, sending good vibes your way 🙂
there is an old saying @Former-Member that says something about - the house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy" - so embrace the mess, your kids sound very happy 🙂

Hi everyone
I have had a reasonably okay weekend. I was given a voucher for a massage last year so I thought why not treat myself. I had the best 45min massage; it was so what I needed after the past week.
Last night was so nice, all 3 adult children were out, mother in law in hospital and it was just me and my husband. It was so nice and quiet, time for us. Haven't had it like that for over 20 years, felt strange but nice.
I even got into the garden today and really cleaned it up. Also cleaned the house. I have had a nice weekend for the first time for a very long time. I wonder if it has to do with my mother in law being in hosptial and not at home with us, as she has been for the past 20 years.
Going to the movies tonight with my daughter and son's girlfriend. Should be a nice night.
