Ouch @Polly48, hope the blister get better soon

Re: Exercise and Goal Setting

Apparently when I try to jump on the balls of my feet for 30 seconds, my face goes "really red". Thanks kid, so does yours. New functional fitness goal?

Re: Exercise and Goal Setting

So  nice to touch base back here every now and then and see what others are doing. I went for a swim andexercise session today - can feel my capacity improving already. Been a busy couple of days with various home things too.

Sorry about the blister @Polly48, the great thing about skin is it heals. 😛

One good thing about the pool today - I bought my own two 'noodles' so didn't have to borrow the pool's anymore. So kitted up and doing my thang. 🙂

Re: Exercise and Goal Setting

I am sure you look cool at the pool  @MoonGal lol

Today I did my brisk power walk to see psychologist.  So an hour of exercise and an hour of therapy.

It good for me to be moving quickly and in a straight line.  I felt a lot of energy around my heart chakra and know my physical heart is working hard .. but not too hard.   Pretty clear about cardio ... but it is just so much better than walking on a tread mill.   Was a little slower walking home.

Now need to go to supermarket ... so a functional walk.

cheers Apple

Re: Exercise and Goal Setting

Hi all only managed a walk around block on Tuesday. Today was really busy, did walk early then went to gym and did a Box-Fit class and enjoyed it and intend to keep it up for 3 months.Rested and then did a Zumba Gold class dance suitable for older ladies. Loved the music mix but was tired after it and hot and sweaty.Couldn't wait to get in the Pool and cool off. Just floated around on my back managed 2 pool lengths then showed and headed home for a coffee. Expected to be a bit stiff but so far I feel good.Feeling pleased with myself.Tomorrow there is table tennis and Body Balance class and swim afterwards. Must admit I sat down all arvo and Hubby cooked tea. I prepped it. Great day .

Re: Exercise and Goal Setting

Hi all....

Great to catch up on everyone's exercise efforts! Well done to all! I missed yoga on Tuesday due to a bad headache. I am planning on going to yoga tomorrow & Sunday. I'm trying to decide whether to go to parkrun or yoga on Saturday. The last two weeks I have gone to yoga x 3. I have reduced medication & am experiencing horrible withdrawals, so I have tried to scale back my expectations for now.... One day maybe I'll be an ultrarunner & yogi guru! Keep going everyone!!

P.s - Thanks @CherryBomb - for some reason I didn't get a notification re that message either - it is good to know I'm not alone.

Namaste,

A

Re: Exercise and Goal Setting

Hey all hope your coming week is full of meeting your goals and getting your preferred exercise done. I have walked today, its going to be 40 C here today so took doggit out early.

I saw this and thought what a great encouragement it is for us all doing our daily lives, with hope and focus on doing good things for ourselves.
